The beautiful Biscoitos Natural Pools are located on the northeast coast of the wonderful Terceira Island, constituting the most famous bathing spot on the island, belonging to the beautiful parish of Biscoitos, famous for its wine production. These beautiful pools are formed between rocks of great beauty, which originated with ancient volcanic eruptions, with solidified lava in basalt stone.

Forte do Negrito is located in the Negrito Bathing Area, in the parish of São Mateus da Calheta, municipality of Angra do Heroísmo, on the south coast of Terceira island, in the Azores. Built around 1560, it was intended to defend the southern part of the island's coast, west of the city of Angra, along with the forts of the same line.

An ancient extinct volcano that originated in the sea and joined the city of Angra do Heroísmo. It is currently a protected landscape and the city's natural park with excellent viewpoints. In Monte Brasil is located the Castle of S. João Baptista, one of the largest and most important Philippine fortresses, built in our country at the end of the 16th century. In this place, which invites you to take a relaxing walk, there is also a well-marked pedestrian path.
Alto da Memória or Outeiro da Memória is located at the top of Jardim Duque da Terceira, in the historic center of the city and municipality of Angra do Heroísmo
Associated with the Discoveries during the 15th and 16th centuries, Angra do Heroísmo is an example of the creation of a city closely linked to its maritime function, having been a port of call for fleets from Africa and the Indies. In 1983, UNESCO classified it as a World Heritage Site. An expression of the new world brought by the Renaissance and which the Discoveries established in Angra, an Atlantic city born for trade and navigation with dark walls and a powerful fortress built to protect it.
The best viewpoint with views over the stunning "Ilhéus das Cabras" and a lava platform that is around 3000 years old, "Serretinha" or as it is known "Fajã do Fisher".
Salga Bay, Cotendas Lighthouse and Church of São Sebastião are tourist spots on Terceira Island that define and characterize the culture of Terceira Island.

We had a fantastic day with Roberto! He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off. Due to heavy rain and fog, he rescheduled the tour which was a great success and we cannot thank him enough. We were able to enjoy the natural wonders, culture and history of Terceira with Roberto's great and informative interpretation. The lunch was incredibly delicious and plentiful. A must if you want to get a complete picture of the island in one day. We are grateful for this unforgettable experience.

Beautiful scenery, amazing geology, dramatic history. Be sure to book your lunch through your tour for incredibly delicious Portuguese food! If the guide had a better command of English, the tour would have been better, but she went above and beyond in helping us try to locate relatives on the island.

Great tour of the island. Roberto picked me up from the airport on time and made sure to show me and tell me everything about the island on my short layover. He had me try some coffee from this cute little place and made sure I was able to take the best shots of anything I wanted to take pictures of. He even lent me his jacket to keep warm since mine was kind of light for the windy weather that day. Then he dropped me back off at the airport on time for my flight.
