Tell Me About Brussels! | First Day Must-Do | Local Storytellers

Description
If you want a local to show you around using a mix of humour, stories of Belgium & its history and genuine tips & tricks to get to know Brussels quickly: look no further. Together we have many years of experience in doing exactly that. The city has a rich history and transformed into the capital of Belgium and of Europe. Brussels is hard to describe as it's not just a city. It's more like a concept (like Belgium itself). There's an enormous amount of things to consider: it's the birthplace of world-famous comics, there are 80 museums, politicians from 27 countries, 3 official languages and even more unofficial ones, it was at the heart of both WWI and WWII and people from 184 different nationalities are living in it. And of course, we'll make sure that afterwards you know about beer, chocolate, fries and waffles. Join us and we'll introduce you to everything Brussels has to offer!

Nick was a great storyteller, a friendly guide and super knowledgeable. A fun way to get to see the Grand Place area.
We booked this tour last minute after a private tour was unexpectedly canceled. It’s our first time to Brussels, so perhaps we were just not accustomed to the quirkiness of local Belgians. To be honest, our tour guide’s crazy stories, and overall “schtick” got a bit tiresome in a short amount of time. The tour ran long – (close to three hours), and I noticed that while we were a small group to start with, half the group left the tour before it was finished. Again, I realize it is difficult to keep a group of foreigners entertained and interested, but this just wasn’t a favorite for me.
The guide Alinde was excellent
Absolutely great tour guide, Tom, he was delightful. He is very detailed and informative! Gave us information on the city but also little inside tips of what and where to eat, drink, and see Brussels like a native.
The tour was very informative and interesting! Our guide Quentin was very open and funny. He kept us laughing with his stories from the city. This tour is great for a quick introduction to the city and combines local stories with a little history. I would highly recommend!
This tour made us fall in love with Brussels. Tom had the perfect balance of history, comedy, and storytelling while taking us around the city. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Belgium. Oh and a bonus is the food and drink recommendations we got from our local tour guide. All the rest our meals with be “Tom-approved!”
Tom was a great speaker and fun wit. A local with a great knowledge of all the sights and history of both Belgium and Brussels. Highly recommend!
Tom has loads of energy and very knowledgeable of his home City. Some amusing story telling.
Christophe was fantastic! The tour was informative and fun.
