Along the tour, you will taste Belgian specialties, including chocolates from a Royal Supplier and traditional sweets based on recipes dating back over 500 years. You will explore Brussels away from the busiest crowds in a more personal setting. The walk ends at Royal Square, with a stunning view over the city and easy access back to the Grand Place via Mont des Arts. Your guide will also share practical tips and personal recommendations.

Itinerary
We meet at Waffle Heritage (Rue Lebeau 25), where the experience begins with a waffle tasting accompanied by coffee or tea.
Here, you will listen and meet in person Belgium's GOAT, elected by Belgians in the year 2000.
Our guide will meet you right in front of the main gate of the City Hall. From there he will guide you around the square to describe and decode the symbols on the different facades : City Hall, King's House, House of the Dukes and many other important houses that hosted important names like Victor Hugo or Karl Marx.
Why this fountain of a peeing boy became so important does not always make sense. While you enjoy a warm waffle, our guide will explain to you all the history beyond this mysterious boy. Despite its disappointing size, you will start to like him and also value our Belgian mentally.
A little walk in this beautiful and serene park will be a short getaway from the city center. Thanks to the temporary exhibition of Geluck’s Le Chat sculptures you will learn more about Belgian humor.
This Cathedral is a must-visit monument during your stay in Brussels. Despite its soberness, the sculptures and the stainglasses of this bright church will amaze you. The Chair of Truth is considered to be a masterpiece of wood sculpting of the 17th century.
In this part of the city, you will feel more like Paris or Vienna. Very different from the architecture of the starting point, this square is an ideal place for closure with an astonishing view on the city. Our guide will then spend all necessary time to advise you and help you organize the next days in the city.
As Supplier of the Royal Family, the House Mary will astonish you with its delicious chocolates and fairy setting. In the Royal Galleries you will learn all about Belgium finesse and chocolate.
Walking down to the city center on the Mont-des-Arts, will be a well deserved reward. You may stop frequently to take beautiful pictures, but certainly enjoy the stairs and the Albertine Park.

Paul was terrific - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. I learned a lot about Brussels and had some tasty snacks along the way, what more could you want?!
Amazing tour from start to finish! I expected only a waffle and chocolate tour, but it also included other interesting stops and excellent storytelling. The sweet treats at the end were the perfect finish. Highly recommend!
A fantastic tour! You learn so much about Brussels and get tips of where to go and what to do in your time in the city. The samples of sweet treats included are so tasty too. The tour guides are lovely and so knowledgable. Would highly recommend.
Excellent tour with historical history and the tasting of waffles, chocolate, and cookie was so good. Our guide was very knowledgeable
Paul was great! It was an informative, interesting tour with lots of treats. A great introduction to Brussels
This was such a fun tour! Definitely worth it! Lu was amazing and the beginning was spent learning about waffles while our host made them! Would recommend this to everyone!! Hands down the best!
The thumbnail on this tour is a little misleading. To be clear the tour never says it’s a mix of a food tour and a walking tour. It says it’s a walking tour with “tastings”. You start out as you’re waiting for everyone to come with fresh made waffles and coffee and tea which is fantastic. Fill up on this because these are the waffles on the tour and you won’t get another snack for an hour and a half. You get two pieces of very good chocolate, then a biscuit then a bread/pastry. The biscuit and the pastry our guide had in his tote bag but the chocolate we stopped at a chocolate shop. Based on the image of this tour, I thought we would stop at another waffle place. I didn’t realize those beginning waffles when we were waiting for people to come in the tour to start was it. The tour is long. It went for three hours and Brussels is not that big. Our guide was nice. I just expected another waffle during our walking tour like in the photo.
