Luxembourg and Dinant Day Trip from Brussels

Description
One of our most popular tours: Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive ancient and contemporary architecture. In the old part of Luxembourg, our guide will take you to the cathedral, the Palace of the Grand Duke and the Place d’Armes. In downtown Luxembourg you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Kirchberg district, home to several European institutions. In the valley, you will be able to see a trail of the Casemates, the abbey of Neumünster, the city walls and the picturesque sites along the river Alzette. After some free time in the city, you will explore the quaint town of Dinant, with its fifteenth century collegial church and its impressive citadel. Dinant’s name originates from the Celtic “Divo Nanto”, which means “Sacred Valley”. This little town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River MeuseI. This is the cradle of the Leffe beer and the birth place of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.

The trip was acceptable, Dinant being much more pleasant than Luxembourg. The coach was pleasant. The sights interesting. The real challenge was the guide, Stephan. He was repeatedly rude, making misogynistic and anti-American comments. Furthermore, he routinely left significant parts of the group behind when crossing streets, sometimes several blocks behind. While I don't question his knowledge base, constant comments implying that the only reason women came on the trip was for shopping opportunities, that all Americans eat is McDonald's, and that they were too lazy to walk got old after several mentions.
Excellent and well organized very detailed and entertaining I highly recommend it to every one the scenes were very beautiful and the guide and the driver were very friendly
This was perfect for me as a solo traveler as I did not have to worry about travel to and from these destinations and was assured that I would return to Brussels that same day. The trip was comfortable and (I think this is the norm) the guide spoke in two languages - Spanish and English. However, because Spanish was their mother tongue, I am not sure the English speakers received the same amount of information, even though the guide was good and helpful
Great tour, very well organized and both stops were beautiful. Tour guide explained everything clearly and was very informative.
Trip was very good with good explanations and a good ride. Dinant was a very pretty, peacefully location as well.
Good tour with lots of free time. A great way to get to Dinat and Luxembourg from Brussels opposed to doing it on your own.
Lovely drive and very well explanation by the guide tours. Luxembourg it’s beautiful amazing place as well Dinant. Thank you for that two wonderful places
I’d recommend booking this tour. It’s worth visiting Luxembourg and Dinant the same day without much planning! Relaxing worry free tour!
Ben and Adrian were great. Wonderful information, friendly, and helpful. The walking was pleasant and the guide gave great suggestions.
