Description

Choose a surprising walk full of passion and secrets. Bruges may seem romantic, but behind its medieval facades are piquant stories. We discover how love and lust were part of life, between model and painter but also in the monasteries. What were those forbidden desires? Along the way, we let ourselves be seduced by artisanal chocolate – because flavors also tell their own story of seduction and passion.

On the Market square in Bruges you'll hop in for a carriage ride. This is the place where the coachmen wait. The square is surrounded by many colorful houses with stepped gables. This square is located in the heart of the historic city center. On the south side of the square is one of the most famous monuments of the city, the 12th-century Belfry. Ride along this impressive tower while marveling at the imposing Provincial Court and the old post office while sitting in the carriage.

What a view! The canal and the house of a Spanish nobleman with a weeping willow. It is the ideal spot for an unforgettable photo. Rosary beads were once sold here. Today it offers one of the best views in the city.

The boatman named this bridge the kissy kissy bridge. It's a romantic spot indeed! Take in the charming canal and the wooden houses along this tiny bridge and build memories! It dates back to 1910 but blends into the historic surroundings so well! It's like a fairy tail!

This city palace is amazing. Above the door we see Louis of Gruuthuse, a knight. He was a member of the order of the Golden Fleece. This can still be seen above the impressive entrance gate.

Avoid this tourist trap! Not to mention this c.. trap.

A tourist catch 70 euros for 35 minutes with 15 minutes (and not 5!!!! ) break to feed the horse after 10 minutes of walking!!! All with a barely friendly coachman! Frankly!!! Avoid it!!!

Bad experience

Horse-Drawn carriage’s drivers treat tourists like trash. They do not even give the information, they tell you to read the advertisement….it is writen in dutch! . Specially young ladies drivers, they are the meanest! So if you decide to get a ride, look for an older driver!!

So worth it!

Rick, our tour guide, was a highlight of our vacation. He customized much of the tour on the fly because we had already seen a large portion of the preplanned tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about Bruges and Belgium from him. He also ran 30 minutes over answering all our questions and was incredibly gracious about it.

Great Private Tour--Carriage and Walking

Excellent Bruge tour. Spent some time on a carriage ride and then spent the rest of the time on a private walking tour. Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and covered all the "must see" places and then showed us some hidden gems. He was very knowledgeable and you can even customize what you would like to see and learn about, if you want. Worth the money, and in Bruge with all the tourist, a private guided tour is a MUST!

Nice visit

Pleasant visit in a carriage for 30 minutes with a price of 60€ for the whole carriage. The coachman we had made nice comments to us with 2 or 3 anti-French comments. Even more annoying, he was very insistent on having a tip on top of the €60. For me this price was the right price. I didn't give in.

Beautiful guided tour of Bruges!

We made this private tour as soon as we arrived in Bruges. Anna told us about the history of Bruges, showed us cult places like unknown ones with some anecdotes! We recommend her, in addition she has a very good command of French!

Secrets of Bruges

If you’re looking to discover Bruges less like a tourist and more like a local, this tour with Anna is the way to go! This 3 hour tour had so much to offer. We visited the highlights of the city, learned about the rich history of Bruges and still had time to sneak in the hidden gems that only the locals know about. The tastings were a true depiction of regional specialties and I find that eating like a local helps me connect with the culture so much more. Anna specifically is an excellent story-teller, so you will definitely be entertained as you eat piping-hot fries and taste the finest Belgian chocolate. Book a tour with her, and you won’t regret it!
