Unforgettable Crossing from Europe to Africa

I had an incredible experience on my day trip from Seville to Tangier. Many thanks to Mahsa, Daniel Fernando and the rest of their team. Daniel picked me up directly from my hotel in Seville and drove me all the way to Tarifa. Along the way, he stopped at a beautiful viewpoint where he kindly took photos for me before we continued to the ferry terminal. He was very attentive and caring. He didn't simply drop me off at the port. He accompanied me all the way to the ferry entrance and made sure I understood the boarding process. When I arrived in Tangier, everything went exactly as Daniel and Mahsa had explained. I immediately found my driver and guide. The transition was completely seamless. We explored several fascinating locations throughout Tangier, including Hercules cave and the Medina. My guide took me to a very charming restaurant filled with classes where I enjoyed a delicious lunch, this was a full spread! Along the way I learned about the city's rich history and culture. It was a fantastic introduction to Morocco. I later discovered that my scheduled 6:00 p.m. ferry had been cancelled due to the weather. The team quickly arranged an alternative plan and drove me an hour to another port so I could catch a different ferry back to Spain. Because of delays with the replacement ferry, Daniel had to wait at the port for a very long time. Despite the inconvenience and the late hour, he remained patient, gracious, and welcoming. He safely drove me back to Seville and we arrived well after midnight. It was a very long day but Daniel's dedication never wavered. He genuinely cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something unique and adventurous. There is something special about leaving your hotel in Seville in the morning, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, spending the day in Morocco, and returning to Spain that same night. Traveling from Europe to Africa by ferry is an unforgettable experience and one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Even if you plan to return to Morocco for a longer visit someday, this day trip is a wonderful way to experience another country and continent in a single day. Thanks Not Just A Tourist for a truly wonderful experience!

Highlight of our vacation!

This experience was the best! We are so grateful that Daniel Fernando was our driver. He really went out of his way to make it memorable for us. He was so flexible, stopping so we could have breakfast and where we could see Africa and where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean on the way there, all the while keeping track of the time. Then, on the way back, he took us to take gorgeous sunset pictures at the signs indicating where the oceans meet! While in Tangier, Mohammed took excellent care of us, teaching us about Moroccan culture and taking us to very interesting locations. All in all, an incredbile experience you won't forget!

Tangier Day Trip from Seville

The day trip from Seville to Tangier was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel, and driven to the port for the ferry. The ferry was easy to navigate and customs on the boat was easy to complete. Our tour guide, Mohammed, was so good. He knew everyone and everything about the area, and was very helpful. We would have never experienced Tangier like that without him. The ferry back was easy, and then we were driven back to Seville. Very good experience if you have time while in Spain.

Good introduction to Morocco

Good trip overall, and I’d recommend it to those short on time who want to visit Morocco. Highlight was the camel ride on the beach. Our driver from Seville, Daniel, was friendly and a good driver, and he even let us stop at a viewpoint on the way. Mohammad was our guide in Tanger and he was excellent. He told us just enough of the history and culture of Tanger to keep us interested but not overwhelmed. I do wish we would have had more free time to shop in the medina. We had a little time, but a bulk of the shopping experience was a rug shop and skincare shop that took to much time. The lunch was fine, but a bit underwhelming. All in all though, I enjoyed the daytrip!

Fantastic journey!

This was a fantastic tour! Everything went very smoothly, even after a ferry schedule change. Yes, it was expensive and you really do have to pay attention to what it included and what is not, but it was worth it! Daniel was a great driver and gave us some information about Seville and the areas between there and Tarifa. On the way back, he patiently let us sleep all the way because we were exhausted! Omar was an amazing guide in Tangier. He was so nice and patient and an excellent guide and photographer :-) The lunch was a highlight - the food was delicious and the entertainment was fun. The only thing we didn't appreciate so much was the high pressure sales people in the rug market. The rugs were beautiful but we were glad to escape. Highly recommend!

Not too long not too short

I was a little worried this might be a bit long even though I did really want to get a good feel for Morocco. To my delight, the pace was excellent, as was our guide, Mohammed, as was immersive experience! PS Camels stand up with their back legs first so consider yourself warned lol

Highlight of our Spain Trip!

This Tangier day trip from Seville was absolutely fantastic and ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip to Spain. Everything was very well organized, and even when ferry times kept changing, our drivers and guide handled it seamlessly. Our journey began with transport from Seville to the Port of Tarifa. The ferry schedule shifted a few times, but our drivers Matías and Daniel were flexible, communicative, and made the logistics stress-free both on the way there and on the return. Once in Morocco, our guide Mohammad truly made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about sharing Moroccan culture and history. Throughout the day, he took us all around Tangier and provided fascinating insights at every stop. One of the best parts was how connected he is locally—thanks to him, we enjoyed a wonderful camel ride and walked through the market tasting fresh fruit and olives from specific stands he trusts. These authentic touches made the experience feel very personal. Our driver in Morocco, Abdul, was excellent—professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Despite the ferry timing changes, the entire day flowed smoothly, and we were able to see and do everything planned without feeling rushed. If you’re considering a day trip to Morocco while in Spain, I highly recommend this tour. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Tangier left a lasting impression on us.
