We did this tour on a day Sevilla was experiencing record heat; and my family of 4 still LOVED it! Our tour guide Maria D was absolutely phenomenal, engaging and hilarious (must be a part-time comedian). I do suggest doing a morning tour, during the summer. We started at 10:30am, and by the time the temperature was absolutely miserable we were wrapping our tour up. Also, ladies bring a shawl, sweater or jacket to cover your shoulders when entering the cathedral (if you are going sleeveless or if your shoulders are exposed).
There were so many people that the initial handing out of the tickets was chaotic & confusing. No initial instructions were given about the headphones and half the group didn’t even have them in/activated for the first 15 minutes of talking. The whole day just felt rushed and messy, it was really unfortunate.

The tour guide Maria, was very nice and very knowledgeable. It is clear she is super passionate about Seville. However, the acoustics made it difficult to understand everything, and so at times felt a little disconnected from the tour. I would recommend to do this tour in the morning if possible. The tour I did was at 2.30pm and the heat was unreal. Getting into the venues was a little chaotic, as some people had paper tickets, and others had e tickets, which needed to be shown 3 times in the space of about about 30 metres with passports and bag checks for the same excursion. The walk to the top of the tower was excellent, with great views over the whole of Seville.
