Value for money, magnificent places and professional guidance

It takes some time to get to the places so be prepared for that. My travelagency promised an included lunch but that was not offered.

Visit Takachino!

A must-do day trip into the beautiful countryside. The scenic bus ride took 3-hrs each way to get into Takachino. The bus was comfortable and clean. The views from the big windows included lush green landscapes, rivers, creeks, gulches, forests, farms and rice paddies. The tour itself was fast-paced, but most usually are. A lot of walking up and down stairs was required to visit each shrine and the gorge. Planning ahead with proper attire and staying hydrated is a must. If physical exertion isn’t your idea of a good time, I’d recommend a different tour. Our guide, Thomas did a great job. The drive back to Fukuoka was breathtaking. I can’t get over the stunning scenery of Mt. Aso and its rivers.
