Amazing experience

Our guide Paula was knowledgeable, friendly, and able to get us to the places we wanted to go most. The reclining Buddha sanctuary was the most amazing spot, and we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much without her guidance.

Excellent PrivateTour of Fukuoka

We had a fantastic private tour with Radim and would highly recommend him. Communication before the tour was excellent, and he met us at the agreed meeting point right on time. Radim was friendly, spoke excellent English, and tailored the tour exactly to our interests. He kept us on schedule while making sure we saw everything we wanted. What made the tour special was that it wasn’t just about the landmarks—he also shared insights into daily life in Fukuoka and highlighted many of the city’s unique qualities. His local knowledge and personable approach made for a memorable experience. We would gladly hire Radim again on a future visit.

Lovely day spent

Radim was a fantastic guide. He brought us to spots we were most interested in. He pointed out things we would have missed if we had gone on our own. Radim was gracious enough to take paths that would accommodate me as I have a bad knee. Thank you Radim really appreciate that! All in all we had a wonderful time and definitely would look Radim up if we are in the area.

Lovely day

lovely day with Paula but would recommend starting the tour at 10 instead of 9am as we couldn't get off our ship in time. However, Paula was very flexible and responsive when we knew we were going to be late.

Ramin was a great guide!

Ramin was great! He was knowledgeable, energetic, nice and funny. His English was flawless and knowledge of Japanese culture very good. We liked the various shrines and temples he showed us as well as the small, trivial details he was able to share. His train and subway navigation was informed and made it very easy for us. A short stop at one of Ramin’s favorite small neighborhood curry restaurants was interesting and delicious!

Great Tour

We had a nice time taking in the sites of Fukuoka and its surrounding areas courtesy of Remakr. He initially asked if there was anything specific we wanted to see. He customized our tour based on my request and what he felt would be worth seeing. On top of this, he recommended a ramen restaurant which my husband and I ended up going to after our tour. We were very happy with our meal. It was 18,000 steps/ 6 hours of a well spent day.

Getting to know a bit of Fukuoka

Remakr, our tour guide did a great job showing us around after he initially asked if there were specific hot spots we wanted to go to. He showed us around some temples, Ohori Park, the Japanese Garden and Hakata Old Town. He also gave us recommendations for lunch and sure enough, the ramen restaurant we went to did not disappoint. All together, we had a pleasant day taking in the sites.
