Tacos, Brews and Views Tour

Tacos, brews, views, and so much more! Noe and Renato made me and my family feel like we were being shown around town by old friends. The private transportation allowed for us to talk about any of our questions and curiosities. Food recommendations and helping us order at the eateries made it way easier than if we were by ourselves. Renato's historical knowledge and stories, especially at La Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, created context and deepened my appreciation for the beautiful architecture and artwork we visited. Every stop was a hit. I would recommend to first time visitors (like us) and anyone who would like to maximize their touring time while in Ensenada.

I have been on a couple other tours in different cities in Mexico. What made this one unique is I feel like I got to see a lot of the city vs a 5 block radius. I was the only one on the tour and Adriel was great. Didn’t rush me and asked what I wanted to try. Would definitely recommend.

We visited while on a cruise, and had a terrific day with Adrial, enjoying the flavors of Ensenada! Easy walk to the meeting place, just outside the port, and we got back with a little time to spare. Tacos and Ceviche were delicious, and we absolutely loved the tequila and beer tasting! The margarita flights were my favorite. Adrial was a great host and was so knowledgeable about Ensenada. He was also very kind and helpful with my husband's mobility scooter. We highly recommend this tour!

Struggling to write a fair review. The tour operator took us to get tacos at Sr Poblano Tacqueria. The birria tacos were delicious. the fish tacos were the worst we’d ever had. The restaurant total was $94. We asked for water and were given bottled water, which is fine, but the amount was undisclosed and we were later charged $4/ bottle and $15 for another drink. I felt that the total was too high and readded the check total and we had been overcharged by $15. I let the others in our group know (separate party) and they were also overcharged. I know this shouldn’t reflect on the actual tour but they took us to a place that was dishonest with horrible food. After this horrible experience the tour improved and our operator, Israel, bought us churros to compensate for the cost and bad experience. We then went to two other restaurants that were fairly priced and good food. Suggestion for tour operator: this was the least pleasant food tour I’ve ever gone on. There was substantial lack in the ‘tour’ portion. I would have loved to learn more about the history of the area, culture, and restaurants. The street vendors were also very aggressive. In past excursions in Ensenada our tour operator would politely ask them to not solicit to us. I suppose that has become my expectation and it was very surprising that he didn’t mention anything to the street vendors. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t do this tour again. I would recommend it only if Sr Poblano taqueria is removed as a stop.

Adriel was an incredible guide. My family and I had a wonderful time. It was so fun, educational, and relaxing! Though we went to 5 different stops, these were my Top 3: Tacos Fenix, Tequila Tasting, and the Plaza Contenedores. I was trying to pace myself on the food though it was our first stop, but really wish I ended up ordering more than 1 taco at Tacos Fenix. La Guerrerense was fantastic as well, though I think one tostada is probably enough unless you are a ceviche fiend. The Tequila Tasting was SO educational and SO fun. They were really generous with their pours and it helped my family appreciate true tequila so much more. I'd recommend skipping the lookout over the hill as it was a bit of a walk across broken glass and bits. Plaza Contenedores was a much better spot to get photos by/with the water and was much more relaxing. There were 20 of us family members on the cruise - some went horseback riding, some just wandered around town. When we all debriefed at the end of the day, everyone seemed to agree that our group that went on the food/drink tour had the best time out of everyone!

It probably would have been great, but unfortunately it was cancelled within 1.5 hours of starting time. Wish they would have called me and offered some solution such as other similar tours etc instead of leaving me without anything at the last moment. I did get a text with some other possibilities but they were enough different from my original choice and being a senior citizen I am a little careful about booking something that could be a bit more strenuous than I should take on. I know they may have gotten a last minute cancellation which caused the tour to not be viable. So I do appreciate the response from the team.

Amazing time with Adrial - what an amazing local experience. Tequila part was delicious, and the tacos were fantastic. Met 2 couples on the tour and hit it off like old friends. We are considering doing this again on our next cruise (back to back) in 4 days. If you like LOCAL you won’t be disappointed.

Guide was excelent! On time, thoughtful, warm, and sincere. Loved the tour. Adriál is the kind of guy you would want to have a few beers with. Absolutely worth it.

We had the best time exploring Ensenada with Alex! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the start, he made everything feel easy and tailored just for us. He was super attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. It never felt like a tour more like being shown around by someone who genuinely cared about us having a great time. And on top of that, he made the whole day really fun. Great energy, great stories, and just an all round good vibe. Safe to say, Ensenada was a hit largely because of him. Highly recommend this to anyone, you won’t regret it.
