Private excursion, Horseback riding on the beach and La Bufadora

Wonderful experience in Ensenada with our tour guide Dylan who took us to horseback riding on the beach first then to the La Bufadora market and the geyser. Miguel and his company are the best. Only tour company that has both horseback riding on the beach and a visit to the blowhole. Having your own private van to take you around is the best! You don’t have to wait for anyone if you want to leave early or if you want to stop somewhere for lunch. Awesome experience! Thank you again, Miguel! I would recommend this to everyone!

Aisha was our guide today for our tour. She was already waiting at the convenient meeting point when we got there 20 minutes early with a sign, hat and ice cold refreshments. Our first stop was horseback riding on the beach. The area was beautiful and the ride was relaxing. The kids had guides walking with their horses the entire ride. They also took some photos for us. Then, Aisha took us to La Bufadora and helped us navigate the area and gave us lots of helpful tips and information. On the way back, Aisha took us to a really great local spot, Corona tacos, for some really amazing fish tacos! Ensenada Total Fun tours went above and beyond for us and even gave my son a little birthday surprise treat before we departed! We highly recommend Ensenada Total Fun Tours!

Great experience. Tour guide was great, was greeted with a personalized sign( that I’m able to have as a keepsake)and hat. Everything that listed on the included was provided. Only downfall of this excursion was exploring the market. We were hounded constantly by merchants to be food,drinks and merchandise, that was a bit overwhelming for us. I think they would get more sales if they just let the tourists explore and come to them.

We loved our driver Miguel. He was born and raised in the Ensenada area and told us so much history while we were driving through the town. He offered for us to stop at any other places that we may want to. We felt very safe with him. What I loved about this excursion is that you could do multiple things all in the same day with the same driver.

Miguel was so incredible! He took care of us the whole day and made sure we all enjoyed the experience. He was friendly and had cold drinks for us. The van was clean and spacious and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We rode horses on the beach as a family, and our own private group, and then he took us to La Bufadora. Highly recommend, thank you Miguel for all of your help.

This was a great excursion, as it included horseback riding along the beach as well as a trip to La Bufadora, and cost less than one of them through the cruise line. Positives: The driver was very attentive to our needs, and all the was promised was delivered--a dedicated vehicle for our group alone, water and sodas for the ride, lots of information about the areas we went through, guidance at La Bufadora, and recommendations for a restaurant. Plus, the driver assisted my husband with purchasing vanilla at the Smart & Final before dropping us all off back at the cruise port. Negatives: On the horseback riding trip, the guides were on foot and led most of the horses. Because they did not speak English, it was difficult to ask them if they could let one of our more experienced riders go it alone, or at least do a little faster riding than just walking.

This is a wonderful excursion. After being on the ship for almost two days, I wanted to do an outdoor excursion where we could feel the vibe of the local area and something that my children and their spouses would enjoy.

Miguel is the best tour guide. We had the most enjoyable day and didn’t worry about a thing. He customized our day to exactly what we wanted and provided the best local recommendations. Five stars and will definitely recommend!!!

Amazing experience. Dylan was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the area. Pointed out facts and points of interest all the way to La Bufadora. The horse rides were good. Some of the horses had to be guided for safety but it worked fit as we had a few inexperienced riders. If you don’t like to be “hassled” by vendors in La Bufadora, you’ll do fine. Didn’t bother us as we knew they were just trying to make a living. They can be a little over the top but a polite “No thank you” or “No gracias” gets them off your back. Highly recommended.
