Tabacon Hot Springs Day Pass

Description
Discover Costa Rica’s largest network of naturally flowing thermal mineral springs, set within Arenal’s most breathtaking private rainforest reserve. Nestled between the majestic Arenal Volcano, Tabacón invites you into the very heart of the jungle. As you arrive, the journey itself becomes part of the experience—surrounded by vibrant greenery, exotic wildlife, and the soothing sounds of nature that awaken all your senses. This is where your thermal escape truly begins. Five natural springs feed this extraordinary oasis with mineral-rich waters, heated deep beneath the earth by the volcano’s magma. Every minute, thousands of gallons of pristine thermal water flow freely, creating the enchanting Tabacón River. As you explore, you’ll discover a paradise of cascading waterfalls and naturally formed pools along the riverbed. Each offers a unique experience, with varying temperatures, gentle or rushing flows, and intimate spaces that provide both relaxation and privacy.

They charged me $20 for 2 very small coffees in paper water cups you would find at the water machine in your office. Then they texted us when we got back to our hotel asking if they left keys for another person's car in our car. Lol. Club Rio up the road is waaaay better and less expensive.
What a fun and relaxing day finding all the pools, and relaxing in the calm waters. We went early and really enjoyed the quiet time before it started getting crowded. I'm sure nighttime is fabulous there, but don't discount going early to have the place a little more to yourself. I would absolutely go again.
Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There was a great variety of thermal pools to choose from. Definitely a must-do if you’re visiting La Fortuna!
The day pass here was amazing!!!! Do it, it's like being outside in the woods, 22 areas to hang out. We loved it after 2 days of hiking.
Everything was perfect ! We booked the pass hot spring + dinner. The place was like a little paradise. And the food at the restaurant excellent ! And an amazing waiter Alejandros ! Very attentive .
Spotless clean , amazing service. The hot springs are included and they are spectacular. Breakfast is rich abd delicious.
Drinks are pricey, but you're on vacation. Treat yourself. This is one of the nicest springs I've been to. My basis of comparison is New Mexico. They treat you well here.
Amazingly beautiful. Get there early. It’s the entrance furthest from La Fortuna. Park across the street and walk along the road uphill. They provide lockers and towels. Lounge chairs and cabanas fill up quickly. Grab one early and move from pool to pool. Lots of instagram worthy views but the day passes are expensive. Lunch for two with coffee and a mixed drink was $96. Filled up after noon including lots of kids. Pools are not hot. They are very warm. 98-100 + - degrees Fahrenheit. Service is very good. English spoken by almost all staff. We paid $125 each for the day. Excellent one time destination.
What a great way to end one's vacation. Ot was pure luxury from the start. Guests receive a aromatic towel and welcome beverage. The lockers and towels are complimentary and the staff are very kind. Would recommend staying as long as you can. The only drawback is that I thought the temperature of the springs would be hotter.
It was very relaxing and hardly anyone there! Parking was confusing and not sure where to go exactly but everyone guided us well and was very friendly
