Starting our journey in front the Mauritshuis Museum, home to the best Dutch painting of the 17th Century!
The Binnenhof, known as the oldest section of the Hagues! It houses both chambers of the Parliament
Get to know the City Hall where civic wedding ceremonies are held as well as the where the Royal family registers its family births.
Get to know the King’s Place of Work, the “Noordeinde Palace”
Take a shot of the imposing brick building “Peace Palace” which combines Gothic and Neoclassical styles.
Finalizing at the Miniature Park “Madurodam” which replicates what makes Holland so unique (Canal houses, Windmills, the Peace Palace)

Our guide was very knowledgable and passionate about the history and politics of The Hague. She knew English very well, but was difficult to understand. The tour title of “Surprise Walk” was misleading. While interesting, it was very factual about history - and nothing “surprising” or different from other tours of The Hague.
