Finn was great and the spot on the beach was perfect for learning! I would absolutely come back anytime.
Great for someone who wants to try surfing for the first time, and do something fun. Some swimming experienced required, beginner friendly, Bit pricey for one hour and 1/2 but all good. Fin is a great instructor very friendly, the assistant instructors are good as well, they assist everybody and make sure they were able to try and ride the waves. Henry is a good kid, he is gonna be an awesome instructor someday. 5 star for instructors four star for overall review because of communication and dis- organization aside from that if you missed where the group meeting will be, chances are low to get the lesson of the day, and you may not able to get a refund. the phone has no voicemail. and chat reply via viator app takes a while. so before booking call them and make sure you get a proper communication line, there also an option to pay later.
My oldest, age 14, took a lesson during spring break and has found a new passion! Clark, the instructor, went above and beyond to introduce surfing and spent extra time with him alone, explaining everything and giving him hands on help! He was encouraging and did amazing explaining things! I definitely recommend this school for surf lessons for all ages. And, again, Clark was amazing! I only wish I had had more cash on hand to tip him!!
My son really enjoyed his surf lesson. His instructor, Keagan had a wonderful teaching style. The lesson was informative and fun!
Amazing overall experience. Our two teenagers had a great time learning the fundamentals of surfing. Instructors Finn and Shane clearly care and it shows through and through. Hard to find people who truly care anymore so it was refreshing. Strongly recommend if visiting OBX.

This was the perfect way for my teenagers to try surfing during our stay in Nags Head. They had a great time, and the instructors are so good!
Clark’s radiant positivity and belief in you makes You believe in You. This was the closest I’ve come to a pop up and it was all because of his reassurance, encouragement and direction. Pure sunshine!
Surf lessons were fantastic! My two teenagers went and the instructor was great, they had a lot of fun, we will probably be booking again!
