Itinerary
At Kampong Phluk we hop in a boat and explore, taking in the beautiful waterways and charming houses on stilts. In dry season you'll be able to see the watermarks on the beams showing how high the waters rise, and in wet season you'll see the villagers and fishermen going about their business by boat.
Going out on the Tonle Sap itself is a deeply calming experience thanks to the still waters meeting the horizon as far as you can see. We round off the day with a drink (and dinner, if you wish) at a traditional floating restaurant to watch the sun set over the lake.

Amazing experience and kept it real and gave you a real insight into the locals daily lives. Everyone was very accommodating and the tour itself was smooth and got to see lots. Our guide Tom was a lovely and lively person with lots to explain and answer on about the village and his local life. Highly recommend.
I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Chout was so friendly and he really explained a lot. Very interesting! Can definetly recommend it.
Nice tour, short and comfortable. Guide Tom did a good job on keeping the guests informed and entertained throughout the afternoon!
I had a great experience. It was way better than I expected. To see the village, meet the people and see how they work was incredible. Even though their life might be hard, they don't see it like that and they are very happy. Our tour guide Tom explained everything and showed us around. He actually lives in one of the villages which made it even more valuable, because he showed us the life he lives.
Really special experience! Tom, our guide who is a local, was a good guide.
Super good experience. We took a walk through the village and saw how the locals lived and visited a school that teaches children English. The tour ended with a sunset at a floating restaurant
Really good tour. Tom was amazing and showed us around the local village and school.
We had a great tour, we were able to see a lot, and our guide Tom told us the history of his village in a very motivating way.
We hat an amazing Tureguide Tom. He showd us his town and told us a lot about the people live there.
A fantastic experience not to be missed. Our guide Tom was an exceptional guide, very informative about his home village and the differences between daily life in the wet and dry seasons. Whilst we only saw the village without water we still found it extremely interesting- a beautiful village with beautiful people. Tom was friendly, chatty and gave detailed answers to all questions . The afternoon was topped off with a lovely meal and sunset over the Tonle sap lake, at the floating restaurant. Thank you also to the bus driver who ensured a safe and comfortable journey with the added care of refreshing wipes and cold water at suitable breaks.
