This tour was wonderful. The bus was clean and comfortable. The tour was relaxed and we had the right amount of time at each stop. We were able to see all of the bears roaming around. Adding the glacier tour was well worth it to see one up close. Brooke was informative and kind. She was by far the most memorable tour guide I've ever had. We're so in love with Alaska now!
Hunter was a wealth of information throughout the excursion. The views were excellent and the glacier tour was well worth it.
We had an amazing experience on this tour, and Grace made it truly special. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the trip. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and made everyone feel welcome. Grace went above and beyond by taking photos with her own camera and sharing them with us afterward, which was such a thoughtful touch. She also gave us excellent recommendations and helpful tips, making our overall experience even better. I highly recommend this tour, and if you get the chance to have Grace as your guide, you're in for a fantastic experience. Thank you, Grace, for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable!
James was our wonderful tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about Alaska, the plants, animals, etc. The timing of the tour was perfect (11a-5p) and we saw beautiful mountains, glaciers and lots of wildlife (bears, wolves, ravens, moose, owls, a lynx, reindeer, bison, etc). My favorite part was the wildlife center and the portage glacier. 💙 10/10 would recommend.
I really enjoyed this tour. The guide James was a very accommodating nice young man, and a very good driver! The tour itself was good, I would have liked to see more wildlife in the wild but the conservation centre was interesting. The rainforest walk was beautiful as were the glaciers. I would certainly recommend this.
First off, Aaron and Vinny, our two guides were amazing and Linda our bus driver took great care of us. The conservation center was a wonderful experience and seeing the beautiful glaciers and mountains were breathtaking. Everyone got water and snacks on the bus and everyone went home with souvenirs from Pictours. The best part was getting the pictures from Aaron and Vinny in my message box. The pictures were great and I have them as a keepsake of our trip. The cost was worth the trip and I would have paid more to have more time at the conservation center. Just something to think about. I would definitely do this again.
Perfect experience! We stayed in Anchorage and wanted some fun activities that would take us sight seeing outside the city and this tour was perfect for that! Multiple bathroom opportunities available. Our tour guide Patrick was very smart, kind, and funny. He kept us perfectly on time, but we never felt rushed. The van was air conditioned well and we had plenty of time outside the van. Bring bug spray! The mosquitos were intense at the wildlife refuge. And ABSOLUTELY book the Portage glacier boat tour. We almost didn’t, but are sooooooo glad we did. It really is beautiful and worth the money. The water was the most beautiful “Gatorade” blue I’ve ever seen. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Kids. Adults. Seniors. Everyone. Also may want to bring your own snacks. You have time to buy snacks at the wildlife refuge or on the boat tour but it does take time away from those activities so it’s best if you pack your own if you need them. You can leave your purse/backpack safely on the van.
Informative, knowledgeable guide. Grace was very kind and took lots of pictures throughout the day, then shared them electronically with the group.
Absolute must do!! Our guide was GREG and he was awesome! We had so many spots to stop to take pictures, lots of interesting facts was shared with the group, and overall it was a fabulous day. The glacier cruise is a must do!! Animals were beautiful at the wildlife center!
I 've booked many Viator tours all over the world and Grace is truly one of the best tour guides we've ever had. She has an incredible knowledge of the area and shared so many fascinating insights throughout the tour. She also took amazing pictures during the entire experience and generously shared them with us afterwards. I highly recommend Grace 100%! Her passion, dedication, professionalism and outstanding service made this tour truly unforgettable. Thank you for such an incredible experience.
