Enjoy a mouth-watering tour around the town of Montego Bay, sampling local specialties and Jamaican street food. As you walk through the downtown area, your guide will take you off the typical touristy streets and give you insights about the town’s food, architecture and history. You will visit approximately 4 to 7 authentic street vendors and local food shops where you will taste a variety of local foods and delicacies. Stops may include Monster Dwag (for jerk sausage), Jamaican beef patties, typical soup and porridge, jerk chicken, fruit stall, and a bakery specializing in sweet potato pudding. Finally, you’ll visit a local bar where you can sip on Jamaican rums or sodas. Thanks, Tee, for a great tour! The food was AMAZING and almost every vendor gave us FULL portions! No 'tastings' here! I had to bring some food home because I couldn't eat it all! This tour is well worth the money for the food alone! You'll learn some historical facts along the way as well. One VERY impressive thing was that Tee stayed with us until our ride arrived and made sure we were safely on our way! Top notch! Thanks again for a great experience!
