Kevin was an excellent guide for our Liberty and Ellis Islands experience. As a native New Yorker and his background as a teacher of history and an artist, he had a wealth of information about what we were seeing. His large notebook of photos and illustrations added to his presentation. My only complaint was that the meeting place at the museum was vague and created anxiety as we searched for our group.
Guided tour guide was absolutely FANTASTIC and such a pleasure to talk too! He was very knowledgeable and such a joy to be around.
JF was very entertaining and knowledgeable. I’ve been to both islands before and he added something extra for a repeat trip.
Our visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was thanks to our wonderful guide, JF. Through his incredible storytelling, he brought the history of both landmarks to life in a way that captivated our entire family. Most meaningful to me was the impression he made on my children. He gave them stories, moments, and a deeper appreciation for American history that I truly believe will stay with them for years to come. JF’s knowledge, passion, and gift for storytelling made this experience so much more than a tour—it became a special memory for our family. We are incredibly grateful and couldn’t recommend him more highly!
Sara, our very knowledgeable guide explained in vivid details the history which made it so much more interesting.
The tour guide gave us a lot of information and insights. JF was very knowledgeable and attentive! Seeing the Statue of Liberty from the boat, up close, impressed me. Pictures really don’t do it justice. Ellis Island was the highlight of the tour for me. Walking through the museum and imagining what it was like for immigrants arriving with nothing but hope was really emotional. Recommended!
The guided tour with John(JF) was nothing short of amazing! He was a very informative and articulate tour guide. His knowledge of history and the delivery of his stories kept everyone very engaged. I am so pleased we chose to do this tour. I would do it again in a heartbeat and definitely ask for JF as your guide, if possible. He was truly an exceptional human being!!
John Francis was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He did very well keeping up with 17 different people. I have been here before but learned a lot. I would recommend him highly
Kevin did an amazing job, spoken like a dynamic professor!
Kevin gave us great tips, guidance and support for a great family time with learning and navigating around the statue and Ellis Island.
