Five Star. Giovanni made us feel like locals who knew all the best spots in town.
Amazing experience... I was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. Maria was brilliant and everything tasted soooo good! 👍 Id highly recommend for anyone visiting Sorrento 🥰
Giovanni was an incredible guide. Very personable, very accomodating, and created a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for our tour. All the stops had such delicious food and he explained the origin and meaning to the local culture of each of the dishes. This is a must do in Positano. The tour is well curated and takes you through much of the old city area to not only try the local food by see some of the local shops.
Absolutely fantastic! Giovanni is an excellent guide, great local knowledge, very interesting and friendly. This tour is great value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you for an excellent tour Giovanni - Jan & Steve H
Giovanni was an outstanding tour guide and made our experience truly unforgettable. He took us to incredible local spots that went far beyond just food which included a beautiful church and a talented local artist’s studio. Every stop felt authentic, and it was wonderful knowing we were supporting local businesses along the way. The food was absolutely incredible, and the wine pairings made the tasting even more enjoyable! I highly recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your trip so you can revisit your favorite restaurants and shops throughout your stay. Giovanni was friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. He even took the time to share additional recommendations after the tour ended, which made the rest of our trip even better. I can’t recommend this tour or Giovanni as your guide, highly enough!
We had an amazing food tour in Sorrento this week, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Loris was a fantastic guide who took us to authentic local places that we would never have found on our own, each serving incredible food and drinks. It was also my mum’s 60th birthday, and Loris went above and beyond to make the day really special. He even surprised her by bringing out a candle in a plate of gnocchi, which was such a thoughtful and fitting touch for Sorrento! The whole experience was relaxed, fun, and full of delicious food and local insights. If you’re visiting Sorrento and want to experience the real local food scene, this tour is a must. Thank you, Loris, for making it such a memorable day!
We had an incredible time explore Sorrento, trying the delicious local food and drinks. Giovanni was a lovely, wonderful guide, explaining all the notable landmarks and background of everything we tried. Everything was delicious! We also got to visit one of the few remaining family run manufacturers of inlay wood art in Sorrento (gorgeous pieces). Would definitely recommend this tour if you are coming to Sorrento and want to familiarise yourself with the central area and feel like you are trying real hidden gems that the locals have themselves.
Amazing day walking the beautiful streets of Sorrento trying the local food and drinks. Giovanni was wonderful, giving us insight into the best spots in town and explaining all the local delicacies of Sorrento. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. It felt like you were truly experiencing all the true hidden gems in the town. We also got try the local made limoncello and see one of the last family run manufacturers of inlay wood art (so gorgeous). An absolutely perfect way to spend a few hours in Sorrento, familiarising yourself with the central area and trying only the best of the best local produce.
Not only did we learn about food we also learned about the history of Sorrento. We left the tour better able to navigate the city and with a ton places to eat and what to order. We did this our first day and I can’t think of a better way to start our trip.
We had a wonderful tour with Giovanni. He took us to so many wonderful food places and even some surprise other stops that were so fun! It really felt like we were getting a local experience. He catered the tour around our preferences and some things we wanted to avoid. Gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our trip. So glad we decided to book this tour 10/10!
