Description

The tour is designed for travelers who want to experience Sofia from a different perspective, as well as for those who have just arrived and can't waitto start exploring. Riding e-scooters is a fun and easy way to get around the city. In less than three hours, you’ll explore areas that would normally take a whole day on foot. Your English-speaking local guide will introduce you to the history, parks and lifestyle of Bulgaria’s capital. The route mostly follows bike lanes and streets with light traffic. The tour concept is: small groups, 50% sightseeing and 50% riding. The e-scooters' top speed is 20 km/h (13 mph). In some areas, the speed limit is 5 km/h (3 mph). The maximum load is 100 kg (220 lbs). A driving license is not required, but if you can't ride a bike, you can't ride an e-scooter. We'll start the ride with a brief but clear safety introduction. Helmets and reflective vests will be provided for everyone.

Our first stop will be the iconic Crystal Garden, where after a brief, but clear safety instructions you will learn the curious stories of the "Big head" monument and of one of the most charming water fountains in town.

The City Garden is Sofia's oldest public green space. Both the locals and the city's visitors enjoy spending their time there. The small park is surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the National Theatre with its fountains, the former Royal Palace and the National Bank.

15 min

Alexander Nevsky square is not only the place where the Bulgarian people have erected the country's biggest and most famous cathedral. Here, we will find the VIth century Saint Sofia Basilica that gave its name to the city, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier and Sofia's kilometre zero.

10 min

Our last stop before diving into Sofia's Central Park will be National Assembly square, where we will see the Monument of the King Liberator, the Academy of Sciences, and one of the most famous hotels in town.

10 min

Knyazheska Garden - once home to the Sofia Zoo is now mostly famous for the controversial Soviet Army Monument. It is a favourite place for local skaters and BMX riders.

Eagle's Bridge was once a symbolic Eastern gate of the city. Now it marks the end of the city centre and the beginning of Sofia's most famous park.

60 min

Borisova Gradina is Sofia's most famous and biggest green space. We will ride through the whole park. In the darkness, we will explore charming places such as the Lillies Pond, the Obelisk, the National Tennis Center, the Rose Garden at the National Stadium and the tiny Observatori of Sofia University.

5 min

St. Sedmochislenitsi church and its surrounding garden are one of the places in Sofia that reveal their beauty in the darkness. The temple has quite a curious story that not so many of the locals know..

Pass by

The tiny Shishman street is one of Sofia's hidden gems. Here you can find anything, just like on des Champs-Élysées. Nightlife starts with our arrival.

Amazing Tour- Great Value ❤️❤️❤️

I am so happy that I took the tour. It was a mixture of a great learning experience, as well as an active exercise for me. Lubo, is our very kind and patient Tourguide. He was very knowledgeable and very kind. We saw so many great architecture, we learned about history, we laughed about personal stories, and I feel like I made a new friend. Lubo is a very good listener, he asked questions about what I wanted to see in particular and what my passions are. He then tailored what he showed me based on what was going on in the city. When I told him that I love fashion, we took the scooter near the shopping districts of the city. I also told him that I love architecture so he showed me some of the best architectural gems the city has to offer. Lubo it's one of the kindest people I met in the city. He was always smiling and always very friendly. Apparently he is also a Tourguide for other company, that is why he knows what tourists want. I will definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

A fun and informative experience

We had a fantastic tour by night of Sofia with Lubo. He showed us around the whole city explaining lots of interesting facts and stories about famous places and people. And it was a lot of fun zooming around with the scooters. I love exploring a new city by scooter or bicycle on the first day/night to get a great overview and with a local guide it’s even better. Thank you Lubo for a fun experience.

Sofia By Night. Fantastic!

The night time scooter tour was absolutely fantastic. Probably our favourite activity during our stay in Sofia. Our guide Lubomir was very friendly and very well informed. The tour covered plenty of history, with a good view on modern Bulgarian culture and all from a locals perspective. And of course, electric scooters are just great fun! I'd highly recommend this tour.
