Great Experience!

Our experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The Snuba itself was lovely and we felt very comfortable for our first time. After our Snuba, we were able to use the snorkel gear all over the park. The day we went (a Monday) the park was fairly quiet so we had plenty of space to explore, drink and eat. Would absolutely recommend. We had a fantastic day!

Must experience!!

Everyone should experience this!! Jose was fantastic with us. He made the entire experience easy. We went as a family of 4 and our kids loved it so much, they ended by scuba diving later in the day.

Great for Young and Healthy

Two out of four could not get down because they needed more weight. My husband was told to remove his water shoes and shirt. He froze, suffered the awful walking parts and stairs and nearly died from a blood clot. He thought they were sending air from a compressor not a tank. The teens had a ball, though.....They do not take Discover cards. It was very difficult to walk around.

The highlight of our trip

This is our second time doing Snuba, and it was amazing! The guide (Imanor)was so awesome at helping and giving you instruction. I got a little bit nervous at first, and he was excellent at helping me calm down so that I could dive down deep. I couldn’t recommend this anymore!

Disappointing

There was very little to see. Just a few fish Not on a reef. The guide was very helpful with the equipment but disappointing experience.

Operator response

Hi Dorothy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m so pleased to hear that our guide provided helpful support with your equipment—we take great pride in making sure our guests feel safe and comfortable! I am sorry to hear that the marine life wasn’t as abundant as you’d hoped during your Sea Trek. Because we operate in a natural, open-ocean environment rather than an aquarium, the movement of fish can be a bit unpredictable from day to day. To help set expectations for future adventurers, I’d like to share a little more about the Sea Trek experience: Accessible Exploration: Sea Trek is specifically designed as a shore-based dive. This makes it the perfect "first step" for those who have never been underwater or aren't comfortable swimming in deep water. Depth & Safety: Because we use helmet technology, we stay at depths that are safe and comfortable for non-divers. Most vibrant coral reefs in our area thrive at much greater depths, which are unfortunately out of reach for this specific type of excursion. The Focus: Our goal is to provide a unique, "moon-walk" sensation under the sea that is accessible to almost everyone, regardless of diving experience. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us better communicate the nature of our tours. We’d love the chance to welcome you back for another walk on the seabed under different conditions!

Wow! Amazing!!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Jose as our guide. He explained everything in a clear and concise way.The instructions were simple, and after a short acclamation period, we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Would definitely do this again!!

Great experience!

Great experience! I felt like I was diving! The water is very clear with some nice little reef sections. Easy access in and out.

Weather cancellations

My wife and I booked this excursion as a focal point of our cruise. We got off the ship, took a $20 taxi ride to the site and found out once we got there that the wind was too bad for us to go. 2 way taxi fair ($40) and 2 hours of our land time that we will never get back. I would like to see earlier notification from Viator that there is a chance that weather will lead to cancelation so that we would have the opportunity to adjust plans. The no recommendation does not reflect the Snuba experience itself, rather the negative experience we had overall.

SNUBA was cancelled

SNUBA Cozumel was canceled due to weather conditions (Storms). So I cannot make any recommendations about it. The only thing I can say is Trip Advisor let us know ahead of time that excursion may be canceled. so my family was able to find a different excursion to go to.

Operator response

Subject: Grateful for the update and glad you found an alternative! "Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We were so sorry that the weather didn't cooperate for our SNUBA excursion! As much as we’d love to control the Caribbean storms, safety is always our top priority. We are actually very glad to hear that our early notification gave your family enough time to pivot and enjoy another activity in Cozumel. Since you weren't able to join us underwater this time, we’d love to have you back on a future sunny day so you can give the actual SNUBA experience a proper rating! (three stars lowers our experience rating which you didn't get to experience. lol) Safe travels, and we hope to see you next time."
