A friend and I were holidaying in Hurghada in February for 1 week. We knew that Egypt was great for snorkling and we were both really keen to snorkle. We booked a trip with Sun International via the rep that visited our hotel. The trip was to Bianca Island offering, watersports, snorkling off the island and an additional snorkle stop off the boat. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not great, there were very high winds (which I'm pretty sure would have been forecast). We did not know until we reached the island that the snorkling would be unlikely to go ahead. We never got to snorkle at all and could not do any of the watersports that were offered/advertised. I appreciate that weather is unpredictable but as a crew of a boat/ship they would likely have known that it would be too dangerous to do the activities (and we are grateful from the safety aspect). I think they should have postponed that day and offered us to go on another day. The main reason for choosing this excursion was the opportunity to snorkle. Other people from our hotel booked to go the following day (so this could probably have been offered) and they were able to do all the activities and had a great day. We thought the trip was really good value for the money £60 each for the day, boat trip to the Island of Bianaca (which is beautiful) lunch and drinks, snorkling in two places, watersports (donuts and banana boat). However, we didn't get the full experience and value for our payment. If you are thinking of booking a boat trip, I would definitley check the weather forecast and shop around for other providers. We logged our feedback/complaint with the Sun International rep who assured us that he had passed it onto the office but we have not heard any thing from them as of today. I would like them to at least offer a partial refund. It would have topped off a fab holiday. I will be trying to contact them directly....
First Ahmed picked us up at the hotel in Makadi Bay - which was very straightforward and practical. During the drive he told us a lot about Hurghada, Makadi Bay and the buildings along the road, which was really interesting. When we were in the Hurghada’s area, which is more frequented by the locals, Ahmed gave us a private shopping tour there - according to our shopping wishes. From perfume, to clothing, to wool, nothing has been left unfulfilled. In between Ahmed invited us for a break at Chai and sugar cane juice. Both were tasty by the way! Throughout the shopping trip Ahmed was incredibly patient, consultative and arranged payment for us (Euro coins are almost not accepted here). As for Ahmed, he speaks excellent German and is incredibly friendly, honest and respectful. Overall, it was a wonderful trip to what seemed to me to be real Hurghada, away from tourism. I'm already looking forward to the next trip with Ahmed.

Felt a little misled by the booking Description mentioned private boat and thought for the price that’s what we were doing. Many people on the boat and seating not available for all. Food was not great. . Did see dolphins but unsuccessful in swimming near them. Do not recommend for inexperienced snorkelers. My family did love the snorkeling and the captain (Coco) was very helpful to my daughter that got tired while in the water.

We went as a family of 11 aged 8 to 72 and had a great day . Saw dolphins close up and loved the banana boat and flying sofa at the end of the trip. The crew were great and we wanted for nothing . Plenty of food and drink and fun . Even Grandad jumped into the inviting sea of the top of the boat so credit to him . From the pick up at our hotel at Makadi Bay at 7:40 to our return at around 16:00 we all loved every minute of this extensive and well priced day out . Thank you again to the crew who were brilliant

Amazing staff lots of information and they actually called the dolphins 🐬 and we actually swam with them in the wild and took lots of photos loved the snorkelling and being in the deep turquoise water. The food on board was delicious and made all the difference having fresh water hose to shower the salt water off. Lovely jubbly

Eldeak Tours once again arranged all we needed for our trip, collected and dropped off at our hotel. Once on the boat the organisers made every effort for everyone to see the dolphins. This took several attempts at tracking and jumping into the water as they were very fast. We also had time to snorkel and enjoy the reefs. The food was good and soft drinks provided throughout the day. There is an on board photographer to take photos of passengers in and out of the water. It was a fun end to the day when we rode the banana boat and sofa. Super day out on the amazing Red Sea!

This is a great day out for those who want a thrilling day on the water! We were so excited and fortunate to swim with dolphins - this was very special! You need to be a competent swimmer and able to get on and off the boat. You are provided with fins, mask, and life vest and a guide in the water to keep you safe. It’s an exhilarating experience! Lunch on the boat was very good and drinks were also supplied. At the end of the trip we also had a chance to ride a banana boat and water-sofa. The staff on the boat were friendly and the on-board photographer took some great shots! Thanks again to ElDeak tours for arranging another fantastic day for our family.
