Hurghada : Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum

Description
After visiting the Pyramids of Giza, visit the Great Sphinx, by far the largest surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on the body of a lion. The Sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Felucca cruise on the Nile is available for a fee.

Itinerary
Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.
Meet your Egyptology tour guide at the museum to begin your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process.
The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.

Mr falcon was an extremely passionate, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Be had true pride in his heritage and his enthusiasm was infectious. It really was an experience of a lifetime from the camel ride, to the pyramids and the very impressive GEM. The restaurant could have been better but you can’t have everything. An unforgettable day which I wholeheartedly recommend.
Mr Falcon was a wonderful tour guide! He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt very secure in his presence.
Lovely experience! Well arranged, excellent guide (Sam), and really worth combining Cairo - pyramids - ... during a day trip.
Mr Falcon was a very helpful and accommodating tour guide who made our day very enjoyable and informative. We had ample time to explore and photograph and he was great taking photos for us! It was an amazing day which culminated in the Nile cruise. Highly recommend.
Really good organisation and communication by the company our guide Jimmy was excellent very friendly and knowledgeable attentive and helpful the only downside to the whole trip was the restaurant where we had lunch wasn't very clean and felt like you was just herded through food wasn't appetising either. The other downside was water not readily available 3 bottles per person I've been on other trips where it's been readily available and payed less .overall very good trip pyramids and sphinx and museum excellent restaurant terrible.

Great day in Cairo. All activities right on time, no boring stops, GEM is certainly worth visiting and the Pyramids are a must. The boat ride on the Nile at sunset was also lovely. The guide, Mr. FALCO was very well documented and also funny.
