Itinerary
We start at the meeting point of Potsdamer Platz to reach Nordbahnhof by S-Bahn, one of the ghost stations that remained closed for nearly thirty years after the Wall's construction.
At the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauerstrasse, we'll relive the trauma of separation, visiting an original part of the death strip, the no man's land. We'll discuss escape attempts, tunnels dug for this purpose, and the terrible stories of those who lost their lives because of the Wall.
On the famous Alexanderplatz, in front of representative buildings of socialist Berlin, we'll relive the emotions of the thousands who, through peaceful demonstrations, defied STASI's political repression, triggering the "collapse" of the Wall and the subsequent disintegration of the Soviet bloc.
We conclude our visit with the most famous and colorful piece of the Berlin Wall: the East Side Gallery and its 104 murals, including the now-famous kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker.

Our guide Mathieu Verpeaut, a native of Burgundy, accompanied us for 3 hours. I highly recommend this guide who is passionate about history. He knew how to make us share this very special moment in history. Thanks to him.
We greatly appreciated the visit with Catherine, who explained the history of Berlin very well, supported by photos, and made it very lively by drawing on her own experience and that of her surroundings. We highly recommend this visit.
Very pleasant tour with a highly competent guide (Elisa, I believe) who generously answered questions! I recommend this activity for its good value for money and for enhancing the visit to Berlin.
Excellent experience with Arthur. A lot of knowledge despite his youth. Very interesting and rich walk
Fascinating visit led by Elisa, a very friendly, cultured guide who perfectly masters her subject. Without a doubt the best visit we have made, essential for understanding the contemporary history of Berlin, Germany, and international relations.
