Itinerary
Our tour guide will meet you at Piazza Campo de' Fiori and accompany you to a typical local norcineria to start your Roman street food tour; there you will find four different kinds of italian salumi (italian cured meats), cheese and fine wine, to have a taste of the best of the Lazio region. After that, you will have a delicious supplì in the surrounding area, while enjoying a nice walk.
Explore the Jewish ghetto of Rome, the oldest in the western world. After an historical overview about the theatre of Pompey, the Portico of Ottavia and the fountain of turtles, you will stop for a carciofo alla giudia, a roman-jewish fried artichoke.
Enjoy visiting the temple of Apollo Sosianus and after that you will stop for a slice of pizza of your choice and a fresh beer.
Discover the place where the iconic Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by a group of senators in 44 BC and visit the remains of the four republican temples.

Romana was our tour guide. She informed us on all places we would be stopping, sharing history of Rome and for the food that we were eating. Took us to the Jewish Ghetto and we learned so so much about that area and the history of it. Food was AMAZING!! Will be going back for more. Would highly recommend. We ate a late lunch and after eating everything on the tour we were set for the evening
Mathias, our guide, was funny, knowledgeable and artistic. We loved the tour, food and some wine (not too much). Recommended. Now we know where Cesar was really murdered.
Great afternoon with Arianna . Very informative about the area and the food we had was wonderful . Highly recommend
Our group of 9, ages 9-75, really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Barbara was very personable and knowledgable and so kind. The food was DELICIOUS and we enjoyed seeing parts of the city that were a little more off the beaten path as we walked from one spot to the other. Would recommend doing this tour early in your trip so you can go back and get a full meal at the locations we visited (though there were large portions of food offered at each spot-- would just liked to have had the opportunity to visit some of the other restaurants she pointed out along the way). Would definitely recommend.
Luca was our tour guide and he was the perfect amount of lighthearted and full of information. We learned a lot about Roman food which has its own unique characteristics and a lot about the neighborhoods we walked through.
Denise was our guide and she was AWESOME! Her knowledge of the history around the food we were eating and the places that we walked thru made this tour one of our favorite out of MANY that we did on our 2 week trip thru Italy and Greece. I definitely recommend this tour!
Great tour! A real highlight of my trip to Rome. Luca, our guide, was very nice and knowledgeable. Food was fun and tasty. History of Jewish ghetto was so sad but incredible. Highly recommend this tour.
This was a highlight of our trip. Enjoyed every stop and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful throughout.
Food it was good, and went into places probably would not have stopped in without tour Meeting place was not convenient as it was in the middle of a street bazaar and the sign for the food tour was a little handheld piece of cardboard
Arianna was awesome!!!! Loved hearing her personal stories about meals shared with her family. We were well fed and also were fascinated learning about the history of the areas we were in. Arianna’s enthusiasm and humour made this one of the best tours of our trip.
