Itinerary
Cycle from the Banff Train Station to Vermilion Lakes (or Lake Vermilion). A favored spot by photographers where the lakes reflect the iconic Mount Rundle that looms over the town of Banff. The three lakes are situated west of Banff and fed by the Bow River in the Canadian Rockies.
Cruising through the Town of Banff, across the Bow river, next stop is Bow Falls. A major cascading waterfall on the Bow River, just before the junction of Spray River, Bow Falls is set in a big river valley eroded by past glaciers, and is a local landmark.
A bicycle ride around the golf course loop begins with an inspired start below the cascading waters of Bow Falls. From here, the route crosses just about every type of mountain scenery. The slopes of Mount Rundle and Tunnel Mountain tower over riders as the road turns and the Bow River suddenly appears. Not just a favorite place for golfers to enjoy one of the worlds top-rated courses, elk, deer and even bears are often spotted crazing and passing through the stunning corridor.

Awesome tour! Our group consisted of 4 family members, two of us had weak biking skills but our tour guide, Dylan, was very patient and excellent . He helped us with brushing up our biking skills and guided us through patiently during our trip. Our route was very scenic and beautiful. Dylan provided excellent information and guided us with scenic views and offered us to take our group pictures. Amazing experience😃!! Will do this tour again on our next visit. Worth the money!!
Must do activity in Banff! We had a small group of 4 family members and 2 of us had weak biking skills but our tour guide Dylan was very patient, experienced and excellent tour guide. It is worth the money and a very beautiful experience. Will do this tour again on next trip!
Our guide Hannah was great! The tour avoided heavily congested car traffic filled streets, focusing instead on bike trails and areas near the Bow river, so we could relax more on the bikes and enjoy the amazing scenery. The bikes were easy to manage and the e bike turbo mode was so helpful on the uphill (I’m in my 50’s, so no spring chicken!) . We saw a baby elk with its family, which was a big highlight. Hannah shared tips with us about some locally known outdoor spots in the greater Banff area, away from the crowds, to enjoy the majestic Canadian Rockies. Norquay adventures is located super conveniently in the railroad station, and the railroad station parking lot is one of the few places to park a rental car for 8 hours free in Banff. Norquay offers Bike Banff bike tours, and you can also book a trip up the Norquay ski lift, which is short drive away and has some amazing summer views. Our e-bike tour with Hannah was the perfect way to kick off our time in Banff!
Wonderful 2.5hr morning tour, our cycle guide Max was great full of interesting facts, saw some Elks and Deer. Would recommend good way to get to know your way round
I and my wife had the pleasure of a guided bike tour by Brier around Banff and the surrounding countryside. She was a very knowledgeable guide stopping at various points to show us the best views and to talk about what we were seeing. Smashing views at unexpected points and lots of wildlife, the e-bikes had plenty of power (my wife rode a lot without electric assistance) and hardly any traffic on the roads. Overall we had a great afternoon, thank you.
We had an amazing bike tour with Max. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making for a really fun trip! We not only saw incredible scenery but left with a large amount of knowledge on the park and its wildlife. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend this guided ride. Our family of four including 2 twenty something kids is still talking about this fun, scenic and obviously memorable e-bike tour through Banff along the river with mountain vistas and past the golf course with elk! Our British guide was an easy going leader who gave us just enough attention and space, plus one of our best holiday card photos. The Norquay group was flexible and welcoming -- a bonus was having their windbreakers - of course in addition to the bikes.
Awesome scenery during the ride. Our leader Candace was very friendly and shared a lot of local history. Easy ride with e-bikes. Our group was all 65! Recommend highly
