Sloths Observation and Coffee, Chocolate, Sugarcane Experience
Description
This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous frogs and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Very instructive and educative tour!!

Enjoy a guided 1.5-hour walk through rainforest trails in search of sloths and other local wildlife. During the experience, you may observe both two-toed and three-toed sloths in their natural habitat, as well as colorful birds, frogs, and, occasionally, snakes. This combo also includes a 1.5-hour cultural tasting experience where you can enjoy coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane while learning about these iconic Costa Rican products with the help of your guide. I was able to observe several sloths; the explanation and the animals were very beautiful. It was a good experience. The coffee, chocolate, and sugar tour was the best. Our guide Jason was the best, with the best vibes; we definitely had a great time! Pure life!!!!!!
Our family had an amazing experience on this tour and it was one of the highlights of our time in La Fortuna. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and local culture. We never would have spotted so many animals on our own, thanks to their expert eyes and telescopes we were able to see sloths, frogs, lizards, iguanas and other wildlife hidden throughout the forest. The coffee, chocolate and sugarcane experience was equally impressive. Learning about the traditional processes and being able to taste everything along the way made the tour both educational and fun for the whole family. The guides explained everything in a way that kept both adults and kids engaged. The combination of wildlife observation and authentic Costa Rican coffee and chocolate experiences made this tour truly unique. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting La Fortuna.
This was an amazing experience. First we did the sloth tour and saw so many sloths, frogs, birds, and so much more wildlife. The tour guide, Andres, was so knowledgeable on everything and had a great eye for wildlife. The coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane tour was also amazing. Our guide, Jason, was also so amazing and knowledgeable. The coffee and chocolate was to die for. Such a great experience!!
This was my first tour of my trip and it absolutely set the tone. The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful at spotting all kinds of wildlife. On the sloth portion of the tour we saw lots of different wildlife and it never felt crowded or rushed. On the coffee and chocolate part of the tour, it truly changed how I viewed coffee and chocolate because the guide really emphasized how important this production is to Costa Rica. I also loved how hands on it was and that emersion really added to the experience for me. I would highly recommend this tour and this business. Yes it maybe looks 'touristy' from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover. These people truly love what they do and that makes such a difference in the overall experience.

Amazing. Daniella took our group of 6. She was humorous and we saw 6 sloths! Full on! Then we had Ellias for the coffee/cocoa/sugarcane. He was awesome too. Very knowledgeable and cute too! Great time. Great day. Highly recommend. Four hours so fun!
The sloths hang out in the trees here. Very hard to see with the naked eye or smartphone camera so a guide is needed. They will use a telescope for viewing. Michael was our sloth guide and was very informative. We also saw a toucan and an owl. They also walk into the Bogarin Trail next door. The coffee, chocolate, and sugarcane portion was informative as well
We took the sloth tour with Steven and coffee and cacao with Abel. We had an amazing experience !!! It was absolutely perfect. We saw and learned so much. Steven was so nice and funny and took the most beautiful pictures for us. He knew a lot of facts about the wildlife and we saw a lot of animals. Then we had the coffee/chocolate/sugar cane tour with Abel. Abel was so kind and he really took the time to explain everything to us. He was so interesting and passionate about his job. We tasted the most delicious coffee and chocolate that he made and the sugar cane juice was also delicious. We will never forget about this amazing experience. 120% recommend!!! PURA VIDA !
