Your breath-taking adventure begins with a personalized pickup from Limon Pier and close to the ship, After Pick Up by our certified Tour Guide, a relaxing drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle will bring you to your selected activities. Your guide will point out many sights of interest along the way until your arrival to the first stop at Cahuita National Park, where the search for sloths will begin. At this park, many sloths are in their natural habitat and free. In here, you will learn about their natural history, behavior and many other interesting facts of this lovely animal. After Cahuita, you will continue the tour but this time taking a Boat Tour in Tortuguero Canal. During this nice journey, you will be able to see more Slothts, due they love to live close to the rivers. NOTE: This tour is for see sloths in their natural habitat. We do not touch or manipulate the animals. No visit sanctuaries

Cahuita National Park is a terrestrial and marine national park in the Caribbean La Amistad Conservation Area of Costa Rica located on the southern Caribbean coast in Limón Province, connected to the town of Cahuita. Cahuita National Park is unique in Costa Rica for its close relationship with the community, an example of shared management between the community and government for a sustainable development at community level. Participation of park guards and community life stands out through a shared governance management. Know the best preserved coral reef in the Costa Rican Caribbean area and enjoy the scenery, culture and cuisine offered in the area. White sand beaches, turquoise a sea and a diverse marine life are some of the attractions that await for you in Cahuita National Park in the province of Limon.
Tortuguero Canal is a protected wilderness area on Costa Rica's northern Caribbean coast. Its beaches are famous nesting grounds for sea turtles, including endangered green turtles. The park's freshwater creeks and lagoons, which can be navigated by boat or canoe, shelter spectacled caimans and river turtles. The surrounding dense rainforest is also rich with wildlife, from monkeys to many bird species. Our tour includes a peaceful boat journey along the canals for admire the rich biodiversity of the area.
Puerto Limón, commonly known as Limón, is the capital city and main hub of Limón province, as well as of the cantón of Limón in Costa Rica. It is the seventh largest city in Costa Rica, with a population of over 55,000, and is home of the Afro-Costa Rican community. The caribbean province is a natural paradise, formed by a combination of dense jungles, imposing mountains, and paradisiac beaches. Limon has the highest percentage of protected land in Costa Rica, as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna. Its vegetation is exuberant as are the cultures throughout the province.

Tour Meeting Time: 8:30 AM for early ship arrivals only / 11:30 AM for ships arriving after 8:30 AM Meeting Point: Main entrance of the pier. It is a very short walking distance from the cruise ship. Once at the entrance of the pier, you will see a Greenway Tours Guide holding a sign with your name. Important Note: This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. Tour operate only when we have cruise ships in port.

Great tour with driver Steven, visited Cahuita National Park, and agriculture walk, and boat tour on the Moin canal in March 2026. Saw many howler monkeys, 2 and 3-toed sloth, Carmen, small snakes and many birds. It was a great trip!

We had a fantastic day on the Sloth Lovers Tour in Limon! Our tour director, Natalie, was incredibly informative — she shared so much about the local wildlife, plants, and culture, and made everything fun and easy to understand. Juan Carlos, our driver, did a great job too — smooth driving and always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of the day and loved seeing the sloths up close in their natural habitat. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Limon!

Ariel the tour guide was great !!!!! as was the bus driver…About 4 people were 15 minutes late and 6 people were 30 minutes late for the tour which was frustrating for those of us that were on time!!! Ariel was very nice(there was a rude passenger)

My fiancé and I booked this private tour through Viator website. This by far, was one of the best eye opening experiences I’ve ever had! It was basically a 3 part tour we were gone for 6-7 hours. Our driver Steve took us where ever we wanted. We had drinks, food, and made memories to last a lifetime! This is one of the best tours you’ll ever book and you will not regret it. Steve was those most excited tour guide ever

The guide Natalie and driver Andy were great. Very knowledgeable and helpful The reason for the 3 rating is our group was full of elderly with walkers and wheelchairs. This held us up every where and slowed the whole group down. Then one entitled woman asked to stop at a pharmacy because of a cold and then did not buy anything. This tour is not for handicapped people at all. Very disappointed in Viator. Below your standards as we have experienced in the past!!
Thank you for your positive review about our staff. Regarding the other passengers in wheelchair I have to tell you that it surprise us as well due the tour is listed as not wheelchair accessible. Even this note the clients ignore it and book the tour. Shared tours can have this type of issues

Este dia no tuvimos ninguna reserva para el tour de Sloths Lovers, por lo que su evaluacion no corresponde a nuestra empresa y vamos a pedir a Viator que haga una investigacion y elimine esta mala evaluacion que usted da a nuestra empresa. Si usted hubiera solicitado reembolso, viator ya nos hubiera contactado para procesar el mismo, lo cual no lo ha hecho por una sencilla razon. Usted no tenia una reserva con nosotros. Seria bueno que antes de hacer estas evaluaciones verifique que las haga en la pagina de la empresa correcta
