We did this tour on 5/18/24 and it was fantastic! One of the best tours I have taken. The cathedral is magnificent and our guide, Marta, was simply amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain not just the beauty around us but the history of it, enhancing our experience of the cathedral so much. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Marta!
The Wawel Castle complex is huge and the attractions are divided. We chose to visit the Cathedral. We spent almost two hours there alone. Unfortunately, you cannot photograph or film internally. The climb up the tower, which is very tight, is worth it, with views over the entire city.
Our 2 tour guides were amazing, spoke very good english and had so much great information and stories. Having an individual tour guide for the Wawel and cathedral was great for my mother to be able to hear and ask all her questions. Such a great introduction to a country I knew so little about. We also got a ride from one of our guides back to our hotel AND a great recommendation for lunch that we really enjoyed.
