Itinerary
Transfer from port to Det Grå Fyr (10 min) Visit Denmark’s northernmost lighthouse, surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes and offering spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding nature. Climbing to the top of the lighthouse is not included in the tour due to the large number of steps. However, guests who wish to enjoy the panoramic views from the top may purchase an entrance ticket on-site and visit the lighthouse independently.
Transfer from Det Gra Fyr to Grenen (5 min) Few places in the world let you stand at the meeting point of two seas: the North Sea and the Baltic. The Sandormen tractor brings you comfortably to the tip, so you can enjoy the view without long walking. It’s a once in a lifetime natural spectacle.
Transfer from Grenen to Skagen Old Town (15 min) Take a stroll through Skagen’s historic center, famous for its golden-yellow houses, maritime charm, small shops and the old church. It’s culture, history, and beauty combined, easy to enjoy at your own pace.
Transfer from Skagen Old Town to Den Tilsandede Kirke (10 min) Visitors can see The Sand-Covered Church, remains of a 14th-century church partially buried by drifting sands. Learn about the dramatic story of coastal erosion that prodded its abandonment.
Transfer from Den Tilsandede Kirke to Rabjerg Mile (15 min) End the day at Denmark’s largest moving sand dune, a natural wonder that shifts with the wind year by year. Enjoy unique views. Transfer from Rabjerg Mile back to the port (20 min)

Viator advertised a car with drive and GUIDE! However, two weeks before our trip the local contractor (NOT VIATOR) contacted us to say they could not find a guide. (false advertising???). It was too late for us to find another tour, so we agreed to a driver and no guide with a slight refund. The driver was ok, but he had to "google" where things were located on the tour and was not sure if a German bunker was included (It was but we did not go to it). Before our trip I talked to manager with Viator (Iris) and she promised to secure a guide, but of course did not and did not notify me as promised. We have used Viator on other trips with no difficulties, but I would hesitate to use them again. They "promised" but did not deliver!! What we saw on this tour was ok, but of course we had no background information about the things we saw. The driver was not from the town we were in so he knew very little to tell us.
Anita was a friendly and informative tour guide for our private group. Chance to dip your feet in the sea!
