Itinerary
Transfer from port to Det Grå Fyr (10 min) Visit Denmark’s northernmost lighthouse, surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes and offering spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding nature. Climbing to the top of the lighthouse is not included in the tour due to the large number of steps. However, guests who wish to enjoy the panoramic views from the top may purchase an entrance ticket on-site and visit the lighthouse independently.
Transfer from Det Grå Fyr to Grenen (5 min) Few places in the world let you stand at the meeting point of two seas: the North Sea and the Baltic. The Sandormen tractor brings you comfortably to the tip, so you can enjoy the view without long walking. It’s a once in a lifetime natural spectacle.
Transfer from Grenen to Den Tilsandede Kirke (15 minutes) The Sand-Covered Church, partially buried by drifting dunes, is a striking symbol of Skagen’s shifting landscape. Visitors will see the exposed tower and learn how sand forced its abandonment in the 18th century. The surrounding area offers a unique, atmospheric glimpse into nature’s impact on human settlement.
Transfer from Den Tilsandede Kirke to Skagen Old Town (10 min) Take a stroll through Skagen’s historic center, famous for its golden-yellow houses, maritime charm, small shops and the old church. It’s culture, history, and beauty combined, easy to enjoy at your own pace. Transfer from Skagen Old Town back to port (5 min)

Anita was great, we loved her personality! It was nice that the tractor ride to the beach was included. Would suggest to anyone!
We had a wonderful day with this tour! Bitten our guide was very organized and knowledgeable. Stepping in the Baltic and North Seas was cold but a must do. They picked us right outside the ship and dropped us back off same place.
The meeting of the two seas was the highlight of this excursion. Bring a small towel to clean off the sand from your barefoot stroll through the waters. Wish we had more time in the town to sample local cuisines.
Not as interesting as it seemed. Too expensive for what it is. Half the price would be worth it. I may have had bad luck with the day, which was rainy. The encounter of the two seas is interesting, but not spectacular. Farol didn't tell me anything either. If we wanted to go up there we'd have to pay separately. The buried church is funny, not spectacular. And finally the town is a street with shops also very little interesting.
Our guide Anita was excellent. Very knowledgeable and happily answered any questions. We really enjoyed all the sites visited. Our concern was finding the bus at the port. We were expecting to see the guide JUST outside the port gate - as was communicated- and be directed to the bus. The guide was waiting on the corner of the road that the bus was parked in With the amount of people leaving the port walking down that road, Anita was not visible. We were getting quite concerned waiting at the gate so asked another guide who suggested we walk further down the road where we eventually found Anita with the sign. We strongly recommend that the guide should wait JUST OUTSIDE the port gate.
The what to expect read for this tour is a bit over stated. The actual tour makes a big circle mostly through country side. Our guide had deep knowledge of the area and shared interesting stories with us throughout the tour which helped make the tour tolerable. This was over priced for what we got out of Skagen
This was a great excursion and company has great communication. We really enjoyed it. Anita, our guide was great with a wonderful sense of humor.
We had such a wonderful experience on this excursion with an AMAZING guide ! She gave us so many amazing facts about Skagen……her personal story which was fascinating! It’s such a wonderful town with such lovely people. Don’t miss the tip of Denmark on the beach, the lighthouse, the shopping, and the buried church. They were all such interesting places! A+++++++ trip!
