Fun, highly-interactive & immersive experience

Second visit. The exhibits are still fun. A great way to spend a wet day in Singapore (and there are many in December). The immersive and interactive exhibits are fun for adults and especially for kids.

Not sure that this is a museum… in any real sense

So unlike “real” museums around the world where you at least get a sense of what the museum represents for the price of your entry ticket, Artscience museum charges you (handsomely) for entry into each exhibit… they have no general “artscience” exhibits. It’s sad really, because the intersection of art and science is a genuinely cutting edge field in its own right… however that is NOT what you will find at this venue. We visited the teamlab Future World as it was recommended with teenagers… and was without a doubt an enjoyable experience. However, the educative/cultural/learning/understanding part of going to a museum is pretty much missing from this place. Not a museum…

Definitely worth seeing

I live in Singapore, and honestly the Iris van Herpen exhibit was so extraordinary. I may go and view it again before it leaves Singapore. Well worth a visit. The quality of the exhibit was brilliant. Would love to see more of these sort of exhibitions and topics covered in the future as well.

ArtScience with my friends

It is a very beautiful place with a lot of art to see. I like it very much and would like to go again. My favorite is probably the slide where you slide down and there are flowers and fruits scattered on the floor of the slide. It's very unique and very beautiful.

Not the flowery promise

Bit of a disappointment. Only one exhibit, Future World, which was fabulously interactive for kids, but i wonder if they learnt anything. Other exhibitions were closed and transitioning. Architecturally disappointing.

A permanent exhibition aimed at engaging kids in art & science

I am really conflicted writing this review. Unlike others we bought joint tickets to see the permanent “Future World” exhibition along with the Studio Ghibli ( the latter finishes on February 2, 2025). As an adult I loved the Studio Ghibli exhibition more so than the kids. The kids on the other hand absolutely loved the interactivity of the Future World which I thought offered adults very little. The kids were having a great time drawing a fish and an octopus in crayons then having them scanned in to the system and projected on the “wall aquarium” which they excitedly chased around. There was another room with airplanes flying around with the same principle. All in all i am sure the kids would give this exhibition 5 stars, while I would only give it 3 stars. But taking into account their level of engagement I am happy to give the overall ArtScience 4 stars. I have only attached photos from the Future World as there are already lots of Studio Ghibli online.

The most boring museum!

There was nothing sciency about the ArtScience museum. It was mostly neon light experiences and watching kids drawing pictures. I didn’t learn anything!!

Way Overpriced

Rooms full of butterfles and other assorted shapes projected onto walls, a rope ladder thing, a walkway through lights and mirror. Not even sure how much kids would get out of it.

Disappointing

Tried to buy a ticket for the museum and was told I had to be a combined ticket with one of 2 other things (one being a goddess something) neither of which i understood. Anyway paid the money, went in and found it was little more that artistic things such as flying cartoon aeroplanes drawn by children on a massive screen. Similar for the rest of it and on the way out you walk through an led display which has mirrors behind it to make it look like it goes on forever. In and out in 20 minutes and probably the most disappointing thing i did in Singapore.
