Everything was great but especially Granville Island

Pickup from the cruise terminal was smooth and organized. The guide shared so much history about Vancouver while keeping the tour entertaining. Granville Island was definitely the highlight for us.

Whippin Excursion!

great pacing, and plenty of time for photos. The totem poles in Stanley Park were amazing and Granville Island was such a fun place to explore. Bryan gave us restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay.

Informative and very enjoyable!

The tour covered all the highlights including Stanley Park, Gastown, and beautiful Granville Island. Our guide Mark was funny, informative, and made the city come alive with local stories and history. The stop at Prospect Point had incredible views and the Granville Island Public Market was a favorite for our family

Paid for bus excursion but got trolley ride

I booked shore excursion for tour directly after disembarkation of cruise with the added service of luggage storage. I called and left message for the Great Canadian Trolley Co to call me back and confirm the meeting location due to the information online lists 2 different meeting locations. No one called me back. The day of the tour I also called the phone number, no answer . I received a message from the tour guide with a different meeting place than listed online. So the day of the tour, i finally locate the tour representatives with luggage in hand and was advised the tour I booked is not available for that day ( May 8TH) The representative was very helpful in offering complementary hop on hop off tickets with the explanation that she would note down my original booking and confirmation numbers and arrange for me a refund from the original excursion company and request the difference in price since the price i paid is more than the hop on hop off trolley , and arranged for storage of our luggage in their office. We did the hop on hop off tour on the red trolley, it was ok , but not the experience I was looking forward to.

Nice but not as expected

Ended up in wooden trolly as opposed to excursion your bus(bus broken). Driver very nice but hard to hear his narration over the banging around of the old trolly, and due to traffic and construction couldn’t get to all stops

Lacked Correct Information

We booked the Vancouver & Granville Island tour and were provided with information on where to meet, which was quite unclear. When no bus arrived we called the help number and were informed the tour had been changed to a Hop On, Hop Off Tour at a different address. We hurried to the correct location and they put us on a later tour. It was a trolley and not very comfortable seating, but otherwise, just average.

Vancouver City Sights

This trip was never confirm with the Tour Operator therefore it was not available. We had to switch to Hop On Hop Off 24 Hr Trolley, but we're able to do Vancouver and Granville Island City Sights and we're happy we didn't miss the day we had arranged to tour the city.

Operator response

Dear Miriam_R, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you weren’t able to take the city tour. On occasion, tours may be cancelled if minimum capacity isn’t reached, and we do our best to notify guests in advance. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding your experience. That said, we’re glad you were still able to enjoy the sights of the city with our Hop-On Hop-Off tour.

Great Experience

With James we had a great experience. He shared humorous anecdotes about early Vancouver filming locations while we strolled through Stanley Park and then explained the sustainable redevelopment around False Creek. Granville Island’s food stalls were a perfect wrap.

Great tour of Vancouver

Excellent tour of the highlights of Vancouver - our guide Fernado was knowledgeable and made sure we visited as many sights as possible. We had an hour for lunch on Granville Island and a short stroll in Gastown and saw the steam clock chime. Excellent.
