The most important religious power during the colonial era was in the city of Lima and was presided over by this imposing cathedral. Caesar was a super tour guide who spoke excellent English. In the morning we toured Pachacmac, and Caesar did a great job explaining all the ancient peoples who used the sight. We ate lunch at a nice local restaurant. Then we spent the afternoon exploring Plaza Major and the catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco.
I travel all over the world, and Edwin is the best tour guide I have ever had. So friendly, knowledgeable, informative
It was extremely well organised, Haku travel helped us make the most of our tour by allowing us to do it over 2 days, to suit our cruise ship times in port. Our tour guide Aaron was very knowledgeable and helpful, he was the best guide you could have, very good spoken English as well. The tour was small group, so we did not get stuck in places. We did and saw a lot in the 2 days spent in Lima, we are looking to be back and booking any excursions we do with Haku tour company. Thank you Haku and Aaron for making our first time in Lima very memorable, we learnt a lot about the place, its history and saw a lot as well.
Our guide Caesar was the best!!!! He knows everything and explained to us with a lot of knowledge and mastery! Thank you for everything!! I recommend
The walk was wonderful! Full of knowledge and history. Thank you to Caesar and Silvana, our guides and Cyril who took care of us.
This was a tour originating at the port of Callao (port for Lima). Haku had given us good instructions where to meet them at the port. However, when we reached Callao (Lima), our ship put on a shuttle that would take us beyond the port into the town of Callao and be delivered to a square (called Chucuito or St. Rose of Lima). We managed to contact Haku to advise of the change in pick up location. Haku was totally okay with this. When we got off the shuttle, there they were, Edwin and Mauricio, waiting for us and the five other people on our tour. Well done! They whisked us off in our air conditioned van and we began the tour which was really excellent. They were friendly guys and had endless knowledge of their country. Edwin and Mauricio first toured us through the modern museum and then we explored the vast and fascinating Pachacamac Temple complex. If you are on a cruise and you want take any tours of Lima and surroundings, I cannot recommend Haku high enough. Being met at, and returned to, your ship is a most convenient service.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great time on the Pachacamac Temple tour. It's wonderful to know that Edwin and Mauricio made sure everything went smoothly, even with the change in pick-up location. We strive to make our tours as convenient and enjoyable as possible, especially for cruise passengers, so we're glad we were able to accommodate you. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! JP Marketing Team
