The tour was very well thought out and put together, but was even more enjoyable because our guide (Amadeo) was very knowledgeable and friendly! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking to explore and learn about the historical part of the city!
I was only in Lima for 36 hours so this was a great way to see parts of the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I also booked my airport transfer with the same company and they worked together with my tour guide to make sure I got to the airport on time.
Good guide. If you are new coming in to Lima this is a great way to ease into this. Knowledgeable and friendly guide.
Aaron was great! Very friendly and he knew a ton about history, culture, and cuisine. Highly recommend!
Aaron our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! We really liked seeing the catacombs.
We loved this tour. The lady was witty, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English. The historic Lima and the catacombs are more interesting and impressive than we expected.
It gives a good history of colonial times in Peru and the architecture is evidence of the grandeur of those days. The impact of the Catholic religion is very striking. My tour guide Joel Gustavo was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.
It was very pleasant. Knowing a bit of the history of a country and its capital is always enriching. Missed some points that I don't know if it was in this package. As an example, take photos with typical clothes of the country to make a tasting. But anyway, it was worth it!
Joanna was a wonderfully warm, friendly, energetic guide. We were able to see so much in just a half-day, learning so much as well. It was a perfect way to start out our time in Lima and get a feel for the city!
Absolutely one of the best half day small group tours I have taken, from the professional communication right from the beginning to updates along the way, and then the tour itself. It’s a small group, but with only 9 of us in this group, I felt like we each got some personalized attention. We had two guides (Cesar and Joel, I hope I got the name spelling right!), and both took turns narrating and watching out for us. Our bus driver Julio was incredible weaving us through the traffic. I had just landed in Lima earlier in the morning and was a little groggy and disoriented, but very much appreciated the history lessons, introductions to the gastronomy of Lima, getting to try churros, and the tour of the catacombs. Thanks so much for literally my very first introduction to Peru and Lima, you guys set a standard that’s going to be hard to beat!
