Shared Sportfishing Trip from Fort Lauderdale

Good people let everyone else get involved tried their hardest to make sure that everyone was getting an opportunity to catch fish

Unforgettable day on the ocean! We booked a four hour trip with Captain Chris and First Mate Ben and it was unbelievable! Ben seemed to manage the logistics of the different fishing lines and methods like he could do this in his sleep, and Captain Chris kept his “head on a swivel” (his words) to make sure we were safe on a busy waterway with some less experienced boaters. They worked seamlessly as a team to get all four of our group members experiences to reel in fish and we netted 7 black fin tuna, which they cleaned for us to take home. We cooked tuna for dinner we caught in the ocean only hours earlier! The highlight was a 6.5 foot sailfish on our line … incredible. Only suggestion for travelers is to know you may feel queasy. We were prepared with anti nausea medications but you may want to keep this is mind. We will come back for sure and request Chris and Ben!

Booked a 4 hour morning adventure with Fishing Headquarters right on the dock. Our captain and crew mate, Paulie and Dave were outstanding! We had rough waters, but got on the fish quickly. Boated a 66” Golden Amberjack! The staff was very friendly and had outstanding knowledge of the waters and fisheries. Outstanding experience!

Fishing was great. Rough Wayers but Captain. & Junior got us some great fish I would definitely fish with Fishing Headquarters again

Come prepared in case it rains and bring your own drinks and snacks. We had a great time and caught so many fish. The first three were bait fish and then we caught a barracuda, a black fin tuna, and a 51 inch king fish. The crew were more excited about that than we were but pretty great experience overall. Note, the boats could use a little TLC.

We spent most of our time fishing for bait fish just outside the entrance and did 3-4 laps around an anchored freighter for the rest and came back to port with a tub full of bait fish -we used two bait fish. Literally we spent 30 mints for game fish was that the goal !!? There were four of us. The other team was able to snag a nice size barracuda GREAT CATCH guys. However we all looked at each other and basically spent 4 hours just outside the harbor about 3 miles out trolling around, with appearance we were going to do more fishing with the lines out. The first mate is hustler the captain was steady at the helm

The excursion was very complete and we fished several different methods and baits. We rotated FISH ON experiences and it allowed everyone a chance to land something on the boat. My son caught a 30” Barracuda. Great day on the water

Very bad experience. I spent $227.34 and I did not even drop a pole in the water. I would never recommend this trip to anybody!

Absolutely unreal day on the water with Captain Jack and Christina. From the second we left the dock, they were dialed in - professional, calm, and clearly masters of their craft. Every detail was handled, every question answered, and the energy on the boat was confident but relaxed. We ended up landing a 7.5 ft sailfish and a 14 ft hammerhead - a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. What stood out most wasn’t just the fish, though. It was how Captain Jack and Christina guided us through every step of the fight. Clear coaching, constant communication, and total composure even when things got intense. Christina worked nonstop and went above and beyond all day. Both of them were incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely excited for us. You can tell they care deeply about what they do and about the experience their guests have. I’ve fished a lot of places, and this was one of the most memorable days I’ve ever had offshore. If you’re even considering booking with them - do it. You won’t regret it.

Nice trip, caught about 9 small fish. Very relaxing and the sea was calm. Really enjoyed the crews help when needed. They were very professional.
