I would highly recommend this tour. Gigi, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, and she held our interest throughout the tour with her compelling descriptions and stories. It was a memorable way to explore these beautiful monuments in Seville. Thank you for the experience!
Enthusiastic and informative guided tour of the cathedral. Very good guide. More time to explore the tower would have been better.
Our guide was very informative and didn’t rush us through anything. Thoroughly recommended. The slopes up to the top of Giralda tower are easier than steps but be warned there are 34 floors !!
Isabel, our guide, was very skilled and friendly. I recommend taking a guide to understand and be fascinated by the history of the monument. Absolutely recommended!
Good explanations. A bit disappointed with the Giralda because there were too many people, but that is not related to our guide.
Wow, what a difference to the disaster we had with the official website audio visual tour of the Real Palace of Alcazar, yesterday. Thankfully we couldn't get a tour on the official website because they had sold out, so we used Colours of Spain via the 'Get your Guide' platform. Our tour guide was called Maria and she was great. She was a mine of information and clearly loves what she does. Her people skills were amazing and she showed an enormous amount of patience and kindness when dealing with customers who were late or failed to adhere to the advice and guidance she had provided. Bearing in mind she will have delivered this tour thousands of times, it felt like she really cared about her subject matter and showed a lovely enthusiasm . I felt sorry for the numerous other tourists stumbling along with their 'next to useless' mobile phone, audio visual tour and felt their pain as they gave up. Our tour cost more, but compared to yesterday it was worth every penny. My advice would be: Ditch the official website site rubbish and go with Colours of Spain via 'Get your Guide'. By the way, the meeting point is their office on Calle Francos, Seville. For some bizzare reason it shows as luggage storage on Google maps.
We enjoy traveling spontaneously and usually plan our excursions just a couple of days out. We tried to get tickets to the Alcazar Palace, but it was sold out. Fortunately, we were able to get tickets to the Cathedral and Tower tour. The biggest positive about this tour was being able to skip the lines (which stretched around the cathedral even for those with tickets). The tour started at the agency that was about 1 block from the cathedral. It was confusing at first, but we quickly realized how nice it was to be able to check into the venue with very few people around. Our group was larger than expected--about 20 people. They passed out earsets that hung on your ear. They worked marginally since the guide was very difficult to understand. She was very nice and knowledgeable, just hard to understand. The cathedral was incredibly crowded and we were underwhelmed by the cathedral. Though is is huge and beautiful, most the of "chapels' were covered with metal fences, which made it hard to see. The main chapel was not only covered by a gate, but a curtain so the only way to see inside was on a video monitor outside the gate. We have visited many cathedrals throughout Europe and this was the least enjoyable. After this tour, we realized that if a venue ticket is sold out, we likely wouldn't enjoy it anyway because of the incredible crowds that go along with it.
great tour.... good tour guid
We experienced a long delay (20 min?) at the entrance of the cathedral. ………………………………………………………………………..
Very good tour, professional guide. I highly recommended 👌
