Sevilla: Guided tour to the Alcazar + Cathedral and Giralda

Description
We are going to know the history of the Reales Alcázares of Seville in depth. This monument holds many stories and details that would be very difficult to know without a local guide. We suggest that you come and explore history from the Almohads to the current Kings and be surprised by the oldest active Royal Palace in Europe. When we finish the tour you can stay and relax in its incredible gardens. Then we will visit the Cathedral of Seville, built in the 15th century on a 12th century mosque, it is one of the largest and most impressive churches in the world. On this 1.5-hour guided tour, you'll admire its spectacular golden altarpiece and vast art collection. The most important piece of the Seville cathedral complex is the famous Giralda bell tower. The tower, which reaches a height of 98 meters, was built as a minaret at the end of the 12th century. Discover the complex's origins as an Arab mosque and see further evidence of this in the Court of Ablutions.

The Alcazar, The Giralda and the Cathedral are a must if you are in Seville!! Everything is so unique and it was an amazing experience, for real unforgettable! Our guide Javier was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about Spain history but also he had this sense of humor that didn’t feel like a history class. We love it ! Thanks so much Javier !!
Extremely knowledgeable local guides with great command of the English language. Very willing to answer more in depth questions. Gave recommendations on other day activities.
Both the guided tour of Alcazar and the Cathedral were fabulous. Loved using the headsets so we could all hear easily. Great guides. Had some trouble finding the guides but the virtual assistant was very helpful.
The cathedral and alcazar guided tours were very good. Suzanna who gave us the cathedral tour was funny and very informative. Elena who provided the tour of the alcazar was very knowledgeable of Spain and Sevilla history and made the experience very lively.
As described, this tour would take 3 hours to visit Alcazar and Cathedral. We started Cathedral at 11am, after that, we were told to come back at 3pm for Alcazar which was not possible as I already had arrangement in the afternoon. I wrote a complain to Viator, after nearly 10 days, no reply at all!
Communicated clearly about this being 2 different tours- one of Cathedral+Giralda (11am) and another of Alcazar (3pm). Meetong point was same for both and easy to find! Morning guide , Maria, was okay. We were a larger group, Maria rushed through the experience, did not wait for all of us to be present neither ever counted if all of us were there. It was a busy time, so some of the folks fell behind when other tours/ individuals fell behind. Afternoon guide was awesome and made sure we were all there, took time to explain things, and even made appropriate jokes to make it fun! Overall a good trip!
The meeting point was not specific and did not know who to look for, as in other viator experiences. Further, the audio was inconsistently working and the cathedral guide had very broken English- the tour was rushed! The next part, the Alcázar, started 40 minutes late due to Viator mix ups with tourists. The tour guide was much better than the cathedral guide. Would have been better off paying our own admission and getting the audio! A waste of time and money - very disappointing .
Long day, but beautiful country and the 3 cities were all different. It was a great overview of different regions of Spain. Amazing architecture and history. Sergio, Alejandro were wonderful! Thank you for taking care of us!
Could use more time at each venue. But overall the guides were informative and helpful. Thanks Tricia
If you are going to Sevilla, you have to do this experience. Our guides were both very professional and provided a wealth of information that we would not have otherwise known about and made sense of these historically complicated sites in a very accessible way. They were both pleasant and fun as well. Great experience.
