Chef Vary is an amazing teacher The wine guy was a great resource as well. A cool place. Loved it The cheese making was fun and the cheese sampling was even better
Our Chef was amazing! The class was informative and entertaining. It was a great hands on experience.
If I could give more stars I would. Thank you for having us as your beautiful authentic kitchen. We loved your class, the depth of knowledge and the fun delivery of the content.
Chef Vary was a delight. I would caution anyone that travelers are not permitted to drive in and park in Florence. Parking is for residents only and we found out the hard way. Taxi or walk in, but not ideal for those with rented cars.
We have a wonderful time and delicious food in this Private Cheese-making Class in Florence. Although called "cheese-making," the experience included so much more (gnocci, focaccia, herbs, and (of course) wine. Chef Vary is wonderful and she taught us a lot. Our 13-year old grandson loved it --and the cheese!

Chef Vary and her husband were absolutely wonderful. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was my favorite during our stay in Italy and I think my family would agree with me. It was hands on and the food we prepared was delicious. I am anxious to receive Chef Vary's recipes so that I can try cheesemaking at home.

What a fantastic tour! Not only were we able to make fresh cheeses and butter, but they were incorporated into a lovely meal created just for us. While things were cooking we were able to sample a variety of cheeses from the Tuscany region as well as sample several fresh, delicious and unique marmalades and delicious wines.
Chef Vary was a delightful host full of wonderful food and cooking tips as well as tips on how to continue eating well during your stay in Florence. I can honestly say that this has been one of our best tours ever.
I have two tips for the tour. First, the location is easy to find using Google Maps, but make sure that you use the correct address as two were given in our instructions, the first was a meeting point where you can go should you arrive early, the second is the actual venue. Secondly, come ready to taste and eat. Everything is delicious so you will want to try everything
google maps

Chef Vary and Eduardo were wonderful hosts. We made and tasted our way through the morning, punctuated by great conversation, history and information. We did way more than the description, from cheese, to jam, to risotto to tiramisu and, of course, since it is Italy - the wine! This was a gustatory experience that had us wondering whether we could walk home! We would absolutely do this again, recommend without reservation and enthusiastically to all, and hope we can repeat the experience with our friends when Vary and Eduardo travel to the US!
