6 hours on a "Norland" boat ,that travels very fast Not too choppy Decent toilets on board Cafe on board Get there early to get the best seats by the windows If it's raining or cloudy I'd imagine the trip might be quite dull. Temp was about 14 degree no rain , you need jackets and hats if you stand out the back in the open and even more layers if you brave the front of the boat, but that is more fun. The back of the boat does have a glass cover which provides shelter from the elements. There is not much commentary on the trip. Can be quite boring for kids. Lots of people ended up sleeping for part of the trip, which was annoying as most hogged the window seats. First hour the scenery is pretty boring apart from a few nice properties, but the mountains get more impressive as the trip progresses. Some nice waterfalls to see but overall trip lacked the wow factor
I recently took the Amazing Bergen city tour and I must say, it truly lived up to its name. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bergen, and was able to provide fascinating insights into the city's past. Covered most of the important places with entry tickets.
