Be the captain for the day on Fajardo’s most unique snorkeling adventure. Drive your own 13’ mini boat from Fajardo and follow a certified guide in a convoy to Icacos Island in the La Cordillera Cays Nature Reserve for a 3.5-hour snorkel-and-beach experience. No boating license or experience needed—after a quick, beginner-friendly training, you’ll cruise across turquoise water, stop to snorkel vibrant coral reefs with tropical fish, and relax on a stunning white-sand cay. Your booking includes your own mini boat for two (2 guests per boat), premium snorkel gear + USCG-approved life jacket, and a personal cooler with ice, snacks, and refreshments.

The fun begins as we clear the breakwater of Marina Puerto Chico, heading North along the bluffs of "Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve”. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of mountains, mangroves, "El Yunque" Rainforest, and Fajardo's 130-year-old Spanish lighthouse.
Icacos Island – Snorkeling at it’s Best! After a brisk 30-minute cruise, we arrive to our first destination, the uninhabited Icacos Cay. Icacos is part of a group of cays that form “La Cordillera Cays Nature Reserve”. While in Icacos, get acquainted with your snorkeling gear and practice free diving techniques in preparation for some of the most fascinating snorkeling experiences in Puerto Rico! Discover spectacular coral reef formations, swim among schools of colorful tropical fish, and learn about the wonders of the underwater world, while snorkeling with our professional eco guides. After a swim, enjoy snacks and refreshments from your cooler on board your Mini Boat.
Concluding our time at Palominitos Island, we will board our Mini Boats once more for the journey back to Marina Puerto Chico. Once at the marina enjoy a fresh rinse and have access to the private restroom/shower facilities. We had an amazing day ! Gio and Jose were our guides and they were amazing ! Beautiful reef, fun beach and everything was provided including snacks and a cooler. Definitely will come back !
What an amazing time. They took photos for us which took all the stress off of trying to get that perfect photo to capture the experience. My kids had a ton of fun zooming over the waves and we saw rays, sea turtles, manatees, and tons of fishes . Amazing morning! Highly recommend! Highlight of our trip!

Had a difficult time with my boat. Apparently the boat I was issued had known issues as it kept cutting out and stuttering. Guides were very nice but their attention to us during our boat troubles was poor. Although we followed the instructions and made the proper hand signal to show we needed help it took other people on a big boat the first time to get us help and the second time by a fellow mini boat riders to get u help. This was our second time sailing here but might be our last.
