Culebra Full Day Beach and Fun Experience by Catamaran

Description
Upon departing Marina Puerto Del Rey, our guests enjoy the beautiful views of the Cordillera Islands, and the mountains of El Yunque fade into the distance. After about 90 minutes on our power catamaran, we arrive at the beach where the fun begins. Our usual beach destination is Culebrita Beach, but our captain might choose another nearby location like Flamenco beach, depending on water conditions for the day. We spend the day at the beach, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, or participating in fun games and challenges. Guests should bring towels, and wear light clothing over a swimsuit. Children under the age of 6 years and pregnant women are NOT allowed on this tour. *All games and watersport activities depend on conditions at the beach. *This is NOT a snorkeling tour.
Tour Options
Itinerary
Our first option is to visit and spend a fun day at a beautiful beach in Culebrita island. Culebra Island has plenty of options and we will visit the beach with the best condition depending on the day. Flamenco beach is one the possible beaches we could spend the day at. This is weather depending. As an alternative beach, if we can't continue to Culebra due to rough water conditions, we will stop at a beautiful deserted island with crystal clear waters and white sand that will make you feel in Paradise.

The catamaran was nice, the service was nice, the food/drinks/snacks were nice, but for the price paid of bassically $400 total for 2 people,I don't think it was worth it at all. We understood the weather risk of the seas being too choppy to head to Culebra, but the beach we ended up going to in Vieques was nothing special AT ALL. We ended up just going to an OK beach that really wasn't beautiful. I just wish the backup beach was great.
the crew and captain were great! The food was good & the island was beautiful. Kayaks, paddle board and more provided once getting to the beach.
The view, atmosphere, water and more importantly the crew!!! The trip is about the crew and they are there to ensure you have the very best time!!! Love them!!!
Make sure you have a waterproof pouch. If you get sea sick be prepared, The staff was great assisting with this.
We had an amazing time! The staff were friendly and funny. The boat ride didn’t take too long to get to Flamenco Beach. It was beautiful, an easy process, and we can’t wait to come back! It was beyond worth the cost.
Excellent trip. Highly recommend for family trips or couples. Staff are very attentive and make sure you’re comfortable. The lunch options are fantastic too.
My Family enjoyed the trip! The boat ride, beach, and Staff were phenomenal!
a 10 out of 10, highly recommended, everything was super cool... the only thing that I didn't quite like was that the time felt very short; I was told from 8 to 5, but it was from 9 to 2
This had to be the most Horrible catamaran ride EVER!!! The CPT of the ship was going so fast, the boat was fighting high waves, jumping up and down, it felt as if we were on a boat with other fisherman fighting a storm trying to catch a big fish, just horrible! 80% of the people on the boat got sick! I almost fainted started sweating profusely, got weak and almost collapse. They had to put bags of ice on me and half the people on the boat. I felt so bad for these two little girls crying because they were scared for their lives! This was just horrible on all levels. I have two videos to prove what I am talking about, I will try my best to post them. The trip was July 21,2026 leaving at 540 am out of Fajardo ,I wouldn’t wish this kind of boat ride on anyone. FYI …. People who don’t get sea sick got sea sick! The destination was Flamenco beach. … Oh and I got so sick after the entire thing that I had to miss the bus and ended up taking an UBER to the hotel, because of course they don’t have people to tend to sick passengers 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. I’ve been on plenty of boat rides and never ever got sick 🤢. In the 2nd video people are starting to throw up, they even stated they have never had this issue before! The CPT of the boat was going beyond fast knowing there were children on this boat! Shame on him! We were literally jumping out of the bench seat because of how hard the boat was hitting the waves especially when the waves looked as if they were coming over the boat! Why couldn’t they cancel the ride knowing the conditions, and the lady in the video that you can tell works there kept mentioning that they couldn’t tell us yet where we were going because they had to figure out the water conditions, so I guess they knew ahead of time and RISKED it! Horrible! The lady’s name was Paola, she and the crew knew ahead of time of the conditions. I had to limp because more than likely I injured my knee! Unreal!!!! Even a man who owns boats said the CPT should have slowed down!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry that the rough sea conditions made your excursion uncomfortable and resulted in you experiencing seasickness. We also received your detailed complaint via email and have since conducted a thorough review of the excursion, including speaking with our captain and crew and verifying all communications sent prior to departure. Our records confirm that all guests were advised in advance, by both email and phone, that sea conditions were expected to be choppy and that the crossing to Culebra could be rough, allowing guests to make an informed decision before departure. The crossing to Culebra is an open-water voyage and is often bumpy, even under normal conditions. While we respectfully disagree with the characterization that the vessel was operated recklessly, we understand that rough seas affect everyone differently. Following our review, we communicated directly with you by email and reached a resolution by issuing a goodwill partial refund. The safety of our guests will always remain our highest priority, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
