Well worth the crowds, seeing the night life along the Seine was great and seeing the landmarks was an excellent introduction to our first day in Paris. Merci
The cruise on the Siene was wonderful, perfect break from all the walking you do in Paris. Communication with the provider was not consistent, they did not send the tickets in time and we had to come back twice to enjoy the tour.
We experienced the river cruise during the heatwave in Paris, the river cruise provided some welcome light breeze! Overall we had a wonderful time, being able to view Paris from the river was beautiful and we took full advantage of the French crepes afterwards. Great value for money and would definitely recommend to others.
The coat ride brought you to a lot of sites but the on ship audio guide was not working. They had a decent downloadable version but I don’t have a headset with me so listening was difficult. Crepes were good but they were a bit p minute walk to the food stand to get them.
Extreme heat lingered into the evening and a mass of people had gathered at the quay. I missed getting a crepe as the tour participants and general public had access to the one food cart. The tour boat overfilled on the upper deck due to heat; very crowded. Great way to see Paris floating the river.
Normal, nothing more, they sell the crepe option as something extra and actually it's quite complicated to eat the crepe because it's quite away from the cruise place
The cruise itself was nice, although the audio was hard to use. The crepe tasting was NOT at the foot of the Eiffel Tower as described. It was a 15-20 min walk away and very hard to find as no clear directions were provided. Once we found the place, the views were awesome and the crepes were very tasty.
I booked our River cruise several weeks in advance, so I was very surprised when we arrived at the port that we were forced to stand in line with thousands of other people, many of whom were purchasing their tickets on the spot. We stood in line for at least an hour before we were able to board the boat. I think priority boarding for those who purchase tickets in advance would be helpful. Maybe I expected too much for an experience that was low cost, but I was stunned at the number of people who were in line. The cruise itself was great! Plenty of seating and great views all around- even from the bottom deck. I would totally do this cruise again, but it would’ve been helpful to know what the situation would be beforehand.
The boat experience was great! On the other hand, regarding the crepe, a more precise address or the name of the crepe maker would be necessary, as it was impossible for us to find it since we do not live in Paris. Therefore, we did not have a crepe, which is such a shame!
The boat ride was an hour long, they were flexible with the time so I was able to do the ride when it was convenient to me. The crepe tasting experience was uncomfoftable and not very welcoming but overall it was a good experience.
