I offer a small, personalized, profesional AND relaxing scuba diving atmosphere for "1st time divers" and/or beginner divers in PERFECT ENGLISH, 100% Guaranteed! NO LICENSE or PREVIOUS experience needed! BASIC SWIMMING SKILLS REQUIRED! We are dedicated to "1st time divers" making sure everyone can scuba dive, even when YOU think you can't! PLEASE SUPPORT the very few local and independent tours, just like this one! We are Cancun locals PLUS very experienced PADI Master Scuba Diver Instructors and cenote/cave divers, an Emergency First Responder Instructors, a lifeguards and a swim teachers. We are equally passionate about scuba diving as we are about teaching it!

This was a great experience for my wife, son, and myself! We loved the relaxing pool reminders, the boat ride to Las Mujeres island, the first dive to see 400 sunken cement statues, and the second dive to explore the coral reef. Lars, our dive master, can’t receive enough praise for how cool and calm he remained throughout the entire trip, helping my wife feel relaxed and in control as he “let” her guide him under water. It was very memorable, chill and amazing. Make sure to ask for Lars to be your dive master…you won’t regret it!
Lars was an incredible instructor. There was a weather complication that could have made the review 4 stars, but Lars was easily a 6/5 star instructor. Super kind, experienced, and interesting guy.
Our guide Flo was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything well. He took the time to make sure we were safe. I rarely say this, but the photo package was worth the money.
While the experience of Scuba diving was really amazing and loved every single moment of it, booking it thru Viator was the biggest mistake of all. Viator does not show most of the costs that are either hidden or shown only after booking. They had assigned me to a free-lancer diving instructor - Lars, who worked at Blue Dive operated by AquaFun company. I definitely recommend using these guys directly instead of Viator.

AquaFun is simply the marina location where multiple independent operators work, Blue Dive is one of them and is not affiliated with us. We all share the same marina facilities, which is why you may have encountered their staff and customers. Lars, your instructor, is in fact the head instructor at Aquafueled and has been leading our dives for several years. While we fully stand behind the quality of the tour you received, we understand your frustration with the booking process. It is important to clarify that the listing details, pricing structure, and overall booking experience on Viator are managed on their end, and we have limited control over how that information is presented or communicated. For this reason, we always encourage guests to read the full trip description (“what is included and excluded” sections) prior to booking. And we contact all guests directly through the Viator messaging system after booking and again the day before the tour with all the information. I felt comfortable around the instructor. He explained everything I needed to know and gave me lots of tips and tricks. I am very happy that I had this instructor.
Our dive instructor, Lars was amazing. He was so patient and kind. Lars spent extra time with students that needed it. We never felt rushed. Lars explained everything and kept an eye on us throughout. I would definitely recommend Lars and the beginners dive class. Even the boat captain was very helpful and kind. 10 stars.
As someone who has never delved into the world of diving, Flo made the dives so comfortable and incredible! Would recommend, cheaper than other providers and lot of actual time spent diving!

We had a great time with Lars! He is a great instructor, very patient and level with you. My friend who is a beginner diver was about to give up when we got to the ocean but Lars patiently coached her and held her hand the entire time until she was comfortable and ready. This was my very first time scuba diving, and I don’t even know how to swim! I can float and do a simple dog paddle, but that’s about it. At the beginning, I kept feeling like water was getting inside my nose, which scared me a lot because it made me feel like I was drowning. I later realized it was just a sensation — our faces have a lot of sensitive nerves that react to water and pressure — and I had simply forgotten that I was breathing through my mouth, not my nose. Lars was absolutely incredible — his passion for diving truly shows. Thank you for providing such an amazing experience! I will definitely do this again. I was quite nervous at first since I’m not a swimmer. Lars took the time to teach us the basics in the pool, but it felt very different once we were in the ocean. I’ve tried snorkeling before, but I never enjoyed it because water always gets into my goggles and I end up swallowing salty water from the waves. That experience made me hesitant about scuba diving, but to my surprise, it was completely different — the equipment fits perfectly, no water gets into your eyes or mouth, and you can just relax and enjoy the view. If it weren’t for Lars’s patience and encouragement, I probably would have backed out. You just have to be brave, trust yourself, stay calm, and remember to breathe — and don’t forget to equalize your ears at all times! Lars will guide you every step of the way. I’m so grateful for his guidance and support. Now I’m even considering getting certified — and when I do, I’ll definitely look for him again. Thank you so much for making my first scuba diving experience unforgettable!
