Few means of transport provide as much fun as the scooter, although they are not electric. Fun is guaranteed! In this old garden village, Jacques and Agneta van Marken ran the yeast and spirit factory. This couple is way ahead of their time. Here the guide can tell endlessly about life in this park and about the Van Marken couple. Next stop: The Hofje van Pauw is a hidden gem. From the legacy of Elisabeth Pauw, eight houses were built here in 1707 for the less wealthy residents of Delft. Another showpiece in the Delft streetscape is without a doubt the Oostpoort. I was expecting a motorized scooter, so I was surprised to see it was not! It was a lot of FUN!! Our tour guide was amazing - he shared stories about old and new Delft.
This was such a lovely way yo experience Delft. It was fun and Kevin was a very good host. Kevin was amazing! Highly recommended!
