Fabulous Food + Friends & Cheer!

My husband and I actually did both the lunch and dinner tour and it was fabulous. The guides were fantastic! Jamel was the guide on the lunch tour we did and Melva was the guide on our dinner tour. Both Jamel and Melva were super engaging, fun to be around and passionate about the work that they do and the community of San Pedro. And, of course, the food and drinks were DELICIOUS! Every spot felt like a home cooked meal, the food was fresh and tasty (and we wanted to keep eating more!). We also loved the people we met on the tour--the other tourists, the restaurant owners and staff. Just an all around great experience. Highly recommended!

The best food tour!!

Jamil aka the handsome treasure hunter was the absolute BEST! He was extremely personable, funny, and told us the history of the food and who owned/started the restaurants. I’ve done many food tours in other countries and this by far was the best and well worth the price. You get the choice of soft drinks, mixed drinks, or beer at each location. If you’re going for dinner, be hungry!

Awesome tour, a must do in San Pedro

This is a must do event! We were a group of 10 aging from 19-81 years old. We had picky eaters to the ravenous teenagers and we were all satisfied. Make sure you book this early in your trip as the guide and the walk from place to place gets you familiar with the town. We LOVED every part of this trip. Each stop came with a unique food choice and a drink (Both alcohol and non alcohol were options.) Rigi, our guide was amazing and handled our diverse group with humor and fun. He grew up on San Pedro, so he was a wealth of information for any of the questions we shot at him. We couldn't say enough about this tour. The last stop was key lime pie with rum punch on the beach. We loved it so much, we went back to a couple of the restranuts we visited on this tour that weren't on our radar to begin with. We were all full and had the very best time! Thank you for offering such a fun trip.

Favorite food tour yet!

Wonderful tour and delicious food. Most food tours give basic bites but this was real food samplings. Very friendly and patient with our toddler and even allowed them to try the food too! Great experience. Our guide was Jamil- he was funny, friendly and I would highly recommend!

Superb experience!

Five stars all the way. We are a family of 6 - our four adult children are a mixture of adventurous and non-adventurous eaters, seafood lovers and non-seafood lovers. We all loved this tour. We got a great taste of San Pedro, with history behind each dish, history of the town and Caye, and lots of fun. Highly recommend this, and also that you do it near the beginning of your stay, as you will get great tips for places to go the remainder of your stay.

Yummy and fun!

This was fantastic. Jamil is an amazing food tour guide. It felt like he was hosting a small, intimate dinner party. Jamil was both extremely well informed and very passionate about Belizean food, culture, and the individual restaurants that we visited. I also felt fortunate that ours was a really wonderful group of people, including four charming brothers from Florida, and a very nice lady from the South. We were able to laugh, chat and get to know each other as we tasted food, and learned about its origins and production. If you can, try to book this early in your trip so that you can come back to dine at the restaurants you especially enjoy. I highly recommend this excellent experience to anyone visiting the lovely island of San Pedro, Belize.

Delicious food tour

Litzie was the best ! My family and I decided to do this food tour for dinner and wow was it amazing ! The first stop was to this small lol and pop place called big taste and wow wow that taco we ate was the best bite of the night. I loved how the tour highlighted authentic belizean cusine and delivered on the flavor. The drinks are included which was an amazing touch. The star of the night though was truly our guide litzie, she was knowledge and just a cool person overall. She for sure elevated our experience

Best way to eat your way through San Pedro

The Savor Belize Dinner Food Tour was an amazing experience from start to finish. It was great learning about the history of the island while visiting each stop along the tour and getting a feel for the local food scene in San Pedro. Every stop offered something special, and all six were excellent. Some of the highlights for us included fry jacks, sere (a rich and creamy coconut fish soup), chicken salbutes, and a rum crème tasting with coffee, chocolate, and coconut flavors. The tour was a perfect way to try a wide variety of Belizean foods while also discovering great local restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Pedro.

Excellent food tour

Great experience. Jamil was an informative guide and accommodated our food allergies with no issue. Our kids 11 and 13 really enjoyed the experience and tried almost everything. Highly recommend, minimal walking and out of the sun. Great spots we wouldn’t have found otherwise
