Exclusive All-in-1 Full Day Shared Guided Tour

Description
Discover the highlights in the area on this exclusive "best of tour" that includes the most requested by our guests! We depart later to let you sleep in, avoid the crowds, and see the sunset at the end of the tour. We start with snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. Hol Chan has the largest variety of species to be seen in the area and is often compared to an aquarium, while at Shark Ray Alley you get to experience a close encounter with nurse-sharks and stingrays. Watch from the boat or swim with them! We then serve our famous Belizean buffet lunch on-board. Traditional dishes like stewed chicken and rice and beans with our Captain’s secret recipe BBQ fish! After lunch, we stop at the neighbor island Caye Caulker for approx. 1 hour of free time to explore the island, followed by a relaxed sunset cruise back to San Pedro, with ceviche being served. Open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch and "panty rippers"!

Itinerary
Pick up is not included. We depart from the Palapa Bar dock, and we meet there 15 minutes before departure. Then the ride to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve takes 45 minutes, while you lay down on comfortable cushions enjoying the ocean, the views and the sunshine, accompanied by drinks and music.
Hol Chan is Mayan for "little channel" and is a natural break in the reef, which has always been a very productive fishing area with abundant marine life. It is open to the sea beyond the reef, so allows marine creatures to travel from the outside of the reef to the inside and vice versa. It became the first marine reserve in the entire country of Belize back in 1987 and this have led to the species to re-generate and the corals of growing unharmed. This snorkeling area has the greatest variety of marine life and coral, compared to being an "underwater zoo" - you have the chance to see all kinds of corals, fishes and even sea turtles! Over 160 species of fish and forty types of coral have been recorded in the area. The snorkeling here is minimum 45 minutes.
The story behind Shark Ray Alley is that in all times, due to its position close to the channel to go outside the protecting barrier reef for fishing, it was the point where the local fishermen came in with their catch and started cleaning it - throwing the head, etc into the water. This converted it a natural habit for the marine life such as nurse sharks and sting-rays that associate the sound of an engine to food. The water is shallow and transparent and you will see the nurse-sharks and sting-rays on the surface, meaning that even if you don't get in to the water you can enjoy it from the boat as well! The nurse-sharks and sting-rays eventually swim away, but the stop is minimum 20 minutes.
Caye Caulker is just how you imagine an authentic Caribbean Island and a nice contrast to the more developed Ambergris Caye. Since the 1960's tourism has slowly grown on the island, but it has kept its quiet laid-back atmosphere, with the motto "Go Slow". We stop by the famous “the Split”, from where you can stroll off to explore the village.

An amazing full day of fun, food and drink. Anna and Charlie took excellent care of us, including my injured mother who couldn’t snorkel. The photos were a bonus and the food was the best meals we had! My kids agreed. A wonderful experience for our extended family; Anna and Charlie are wonderful people and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you for a wicked time!!
Seamless experience! We saw so much wildlife - rays, sharks, lobster, sea turtles, and so many types of fish! The guides were so nice and even pulled my 7 year old along on a ring so he could relax. We had so much fun!
This experience was so much fun!! Anna and Captain Charlie were the perfect hosts to our adventure. We lucked up and didn't have to share the boat with any other guests, which made the sailing even more special. We always felt safe in the water and on the boat. We saw so many sea creatures!!! It was by far one of the coolest experiences. Drinks were flowing, the meal was good but the ceviche was PERFECT. The only thing I wished is that we were able to stay in the water longer but I understand they have to follow reef rules. Because of this experience, I will always go snorkeling on a trip if it's an option.
Wow what an amazing time, all crew members were amazing! The boat was relaxing and there’s nice comfortable lounge chairs. Food was 10/10. And the snorkeling was beautiful!!! Anna was my tour guide and she was fun, pointing out different stuff for us to see! Seriously all crew on this charter were AMAZING!
I was communicating with Linda a few days before my scheduled tour because of the weather. She was able to accommodate me and allowed me to change my tour date since I was a party of one. I am extremely appreciative and I had a great time on the tour. I would recommend this to anyone!
Great all day excursion. The team was very attentive and even took photos of our group throughout the trip. They provide some really good food and accommodated all allergies we had. As many rum punches as you could ask for too, we just recommend waiting until after snorkeling. Really enjoyed the snorkeling and the guides had great information about the marine life and the parks themselves.
Was a lot of fun and they made sure everyone was safe on boat and in the water.
This tour was awesome, best one we did in Belize. Charlie, Anna, and Camilla were awesome. Super friendly and served us like royalty.
The overall day was great. We had a great crew with Charlie, Anna, and one more person who's name has slipped my mind. The crew was very energetic and funny. What I appreciated the most was the drinks and food. They provided a real lunch that was cooked. They were very knowledgable about our environment and I didn't feel rushed at all. We took our time and relaxed and having that time to explore Cay Cayuer was perfect. The overall timing was just right and not having to meet up until 1130 was a definate plus. I would highly recommend this tour 100 times over.
BEST TIME! The snorkeling was amazing, lunch, rum punch was the bomb. Crew was fantastic. And the ceviche for the 2 hour cruise back in was delicious. It was a wonderful day.
