Friendly crew, good food and drinks, great views. 10/10 must go! Crew members provided information of the island and areas where we anchored and we had ample time to swim each spot.
This experience was amazing!! Everyone went above and beyond to make the sunset cruise a hit!! The crew was fun and engaging, it took no time to feel comfortable and right at home. The food was delicious!! Would definitely recommend 10/10!!
The crew was skilled, personable and fun. We enjoyed beautiful views, a fabulous meal and a spectacular sunset. This is not to be missed
Like I wrote avarage.. The route was good, the boat clean but I felt that the food was not enough, I was in oktober on the morning tour and we got first thing when we got to the boat some thing nice to eat and we set on the table all together at the meal and could take as much as we wanted, for the same amount off people we had twice food and more variety, also here we had to choose between steak and chicken, I chose pork steak that the guide made on the grill, It wasn't able to be eaten..hard and dry like peace of wood, I wouldn't call it Luxury at all..in the and of the tour we wated to long after the sunset to get to the port and it was too windy, I dont know why they wated so long so I felt really bad, ..
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are glad to read that you enjoyed the route and that you found the boat clean. However, we are truly sorry to hear that the food did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We understand how important the meal is for the overall experience, especially when a cruise is described as a luxury experience, and we are sorry that the pork steak was not enjoyable for you. We also apologize that you felt uncomfortable after sunset due to the waiting time and the windy conditions. The captain always makes decisions based on the weather, sea conditions, port traffic, and the safety of all guests, but we fully understand that this affected your comfort and overall impression of the tour. Your comments are very important to us, and we will review them carefully with our crew and operations team, especially regarding the food quantity, variety, and quality. We are sorry that this experience did not feel as special as your previous morning tour with us, and we truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve. Kind regards, Sunset Oia Sailing Cruises
to be honest, this was a little disappointing. i understand the weather has a big impact, but we only ended up going the hot springs. the other listed designations were taken off the itinerary. instead we sat at anchor in uninspiring locations with limited outlook for most of the trip. it is a superb location that was not maximised
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that the experience felt disappointing. Indeed, the weather was not on our side that day, and this affected the itinerary and the locations we were able to visit safely. Nevertheless, the cruise also included Thirassia and Oia, in addition to the Hot Springs. However, we fully understand that this was not the experience you were expecting, and we sincerely apologize for that. Santorini is a truly unique place, and we are sorry that, due to the conditions, it did not feel maximized during your cruise. Kind regards, George
We actually didn't get to swim to any beaches, but rather swam in the water around the ship. But, overall, it was a lovely trip! The scenery was magnificent and the guides gave us some insight about each stop that we made.
Must do when visiting Santorini. Would recommend sunset oia to everyone. Go for a good package cruise like diamond etc. less than 20 people is the best
The destinations were beautiful, and I want to begin by acknowledging that the rest of the crew were kind, professional, and genuinely tried to make us feel comfortable. After several unpleasant interactions, some crew members even apologized to us and did their best to improve the situation. Unfortunately, the captain's behavior overshadowed the entire experience. As first-time sea swimmers, some of us chose to remain close to the boat for safety. I was holding onto the area near the ladder when the captain began shouting that I was blocking access, despite there being no one waiting to use it at the time. A polite request would have been more than enough. Later, a member of our group was publicly reprimanded for drinking directly from a communal water bottle rather than using a cup. While it was reasonable to point out the mistake, the manner in which it was handled was unnecessarily aggressive and humiliating. What made this even more difficult to understand was the inconsistency. Other guests broke a pool noodle and sprayed sunscreen on the deck despite being instructed not to, yet those situations were handled calmly and respectfully. Our group, however, seemed to be treated very differently. The most troubling moment came when the captain remarked, "This is Greece, not India." The comment was completely unnecessary and left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. Regardless of the intent behind it, it was inappropriate and unprofessional. What disappointed us most was not being corrected when we made a mistake. We are visitors, and we are happy to follow local rules and customs when they are explained respectfully. The issue was the repeated shouting, public embarrassment, and the stark difference in how our group was treated compared with other guests. By the end of the trip, the atmosphere had become uncomfortable not only for us but also for many of the people around us. Several guests witnessed these interactions, and it was clear that the captain's conduct affected the overall mood on board. The scenery, swimming spots, and the rest of the crew deserved a five-star experience. Unfortunately, one person's behavior was enough to turn what should have been a memorable day into a deeply disappointing one.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. First of all, please accept our sincerest apologies for the captain’s behavior and for the way you and your group were made to feel during the cruise. We are truly sorry that what should have been a beautiful and memorable day was overshadowed by these unpleasant interactions. While the captain is responsible for the safety of all guests on board, and this can sometimes be a very demanding role, this does not excuse shouting, public embarrassment, or any comment that made you feel singled out or unwelcome. Your feedback is taken very seriously. We also sincerely apologize for the comment you mentioned. Regardless of the intention behind it, it was inappropriate, unnecessary, and not in line with the level of hospitality and respect we expect from our team. We are grateful that you acknowledged the kindness and professionalism of the rest of the crew, but we fully understand that one person’s behavior can affect the entire experience. We will address this internally with the captain and make sure that clear steps are taken so that this does not happen again. Once again, we are deeply sorry for your disappointment and for the uncomfortable atmosphere created on board. This is not the experience we want any guest to have with us.
What an awesome time! The crew was enjoyable and engaging and provided us with a beautiful cruise! The sights were beautiful and the sunset, breathtaking! Great crowd and conversations the entire day. The BBQ was very, very delicious!! I would absolutely do this again with this crew!!
It’s an experience not to be missed. The crew takes great care to make sure that everyone knows what to expect thru out the trip and that every passenger is careful navigating around the catamaran. The swimming was wonderful and the food very good. And the drinks too! The captain even stayed out longer so that we could see the full sunset because the clouds might clear up, which they did. It’s worth the price paid in my opinion.
