We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Chris! It was very convenient to meet up with him in Fira and he drove us around to so many different places in Santorini, explaining the sights to us. We saw the major tourist attractions but also some more quieter areas that were just as beautiful! We really appreciated his tour guiding — he was very knowledgeable and funny and we had a great time! Thank you Chris!
Do not book this tour if you’re arriving by cruise ship. We paid $581 for this tour, but our cruise line changed our port schedule the day before due to a strike involving Santorini tour buses. The captain notified us immediately, and we contacted the tour operator within 22 hours and 20 minutes—just 1 hour and 40 minutes short of their 24-hour cancellation policy. Unlike our Mykonos tour operator, who was understanding and moved our tour to the previous day, this company would not refund us. They offered us a tour in the afternoon, which did not work for us. Our original booking was for 10:00 a.m. they told us to tell the cruise ship to refund us because it was their fault. Now everyone knows that does not work. The cruise ship would just say that we should have booked through the cruise ship. They also insisted there had been no strike, yet three local drivers confirmed there had been one and that three cruise ships canceled their Santorini port calls because of it. We ended up booking and paying for another tour ourselves and lost the entire $581 we had paid this company. If you’re arriving by cruise ship, be aware that port changes can happen, and this operator offers very little flexibility when they do.
Wonderful tour highly recommend! Able to see parts of Santorini that normally couldn’t do by self in a day. Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and used our time wisely. Took great photos of us also which was a great bonus!
