Itinerary
The Santa Monica Pier Arch welcomes more than just tourists: it also ushers in spirits. Learn the dark history surrounding this iconic fixture of southern California.
If you find lost jewelry near the cannon statue in Palisades Park, you better leave it there - lest you upset the park's resident spirits. Your guide will fill you in on the many different ghouls that like to haunt this particular spot and why.
The Arizona Avenue Pedestrian Bridge overlooks one of America's most haunted highways. Find out why drivers report seeing shadowy figures standing in the middle of the road, only for them to disappear a second later.
St. Monica's statue is tied to the "Day of the Dead," so it should come as no surprise that locals often see spirits roaming around it during a certain time of the year.
Visit this historic hotel and former speakeasy and you may run into the ghosts of Rose Kennedy or Al Capone. There are plenty of mysteries and secrets to be uncovered at The Georgian.
The ghosts of Old Hollywood are said to haunt this scenic restaurant attached to The Georgian Hotel.
Locals began reporting ghost sightings near the iconic Santa Monica Pier Carousel in the 1960s, when apartments were added above it. Find out all of the chilling details surrounding this seemingly innocent amusement ride.
The history of this 1950s dive bar is quite the roller coaster ride. It involves elephants, astronaut Alan Sheppard, Julia Roberts, and a ton of paranormal activity. You won't want to miss this stop!

We have a great time she was very knowledgeable and great personality plus we learned some great facts about the city
Very knowledgeable and great personality i will definitely recommend thank you for a great time
The stories came alive with her storytelling. She was very patient because the pier is a busy place and parking is atrocious. Thank you.
This tour was pretty incredible! Our tour guide knew a lot of history about how Santa Monica came to be, the stories of the people who made it what it is today and the pier! Who knew the pier had so much to it?! Wow! Even my 16 year old enjoyed it and she doesn’t enjoy much. If ya know, ya know. Thank you to our guide and US Ghost Tours for an unforgettable experience for my family! 💕
I have been on three other ghost tours by other companies in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Toronto. I was excited to finally take one in Los Angeles. What a let down. Our guide Michaela was very nice. Maybe it wasn't her fault. But we walked a total of 1 and a half blocks? Usually tours take us all around town to show us as much as possible but this time: we didnt go to the beach, the pier, or to the statue of st. Monica. We were shown.... plants? We walked a bit down the edge of the park. I want to say it took maybe 20 minutes before we heard our first ghost story. But mainly it was her experiences with her jewelry going missing, a homeless person encounter, and police officers not giving her enough information about a body that was found. The most interesting part was going into a hotel thats been there since the prohibition. Maybe the problem is I'm comparing this with previous tours. I will not be booking again with this company.. especially if they advertise haunted places but the guide just motions to the direction and says, "over there" but walks you to plants she finds interesting.
I thought it was interesting. Not as scary as other tours I’ve been on. I still found it informative. Our guide was really informative and helpful with the information. The only problem I had was I couldn’t hear her at time because of the other things going on. Maybe give her a louder microphone.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you found the tour interesting and informative, and that your guide made the experience enjoyable. We appreciate your note about the sound — we’ll definitely look into improving the microphone setup so everyone can hear clearly. We’ll also be sure to pass along your compliments to the guide. We hope to see you again soon for another great experience!
